These extremes are really difficult to deal with!

I think we peak at low 30s (Celsius) at the moment. But I think last year we neared 40. Hope that storm will not be bad.
ETA: That is why even if I want to wear the scarves I got, I will have to wait when it is cooler. Or, when I know I will not be going out of the office building.

We're already in mid 30. Yeah... and I can totally feel you on that scarf issue. ;)

Bake what makes you think that I can pull it off? I think I probably look like a thirtysomething hobo with hodgepodge style. I have such a weird mix of no name and designer in my closet and not all that much designer (darn being short on cash unemployed and recently divorced single 20 something mom several years ago when my boys were little the way my girls are now, I sent so many classic pieces to eBay and saved such a tiny few) to be honest. I think I'm just a wannabe designer with no actual skills which is nothing to brag about!

From what I've seen you do pair the items you have well! And the fact you rock these no name with designers makes it cool.

Folding and steaming keeps wrinkles at bay for silk.

But for the length and design of your scarf, the wrinkles give it more texture and dimension.

You do have a unique set of things, and I like that! I wish I could be so confident to pull those off.

Lololol I kinda fall in to LV almost weekly.

The lack of strap on the carryall is a big con.
If you get the 50, what pattern?

The neonoe just launched so stock is just trickling in. It's super popular now, every LV blogger has one.
If I go for the 50 mono with black trim. I'm leaning toward the carryall though as it's more stylish.

The price point on the Neo is excellent. Love that it can crossbody. I just don't want to go down this mono path again

I'll just start the yellow and orange week. [emoji4]

Here're my photo from last year.

The yellows. I did the yellow with purple and I only keep this photo. So, I'll just crop the purple out. [emoji4] Those can wait until purple week. [emoji6]

And the orange.

And this year, since we put the yellow and orange together, I'll just put them together.

The MBMJ is shot separately coz I keep it at the condo while the rest was shot this morning at my house and it's not new. I misplaced it during last year project and found it later.

I know I'll never use the other 2 orange bags, but I can't get rid of it. The flat tote is a wedding gift and the fat one has such a delicate embroidery I count as art so I just take them off the bag list and count them as a decoration. I now use the fat one to hold rolled-up socks and the flat one to hold rolled-up recycle plastic bag. I got the idea from Liz's basket last year. [emoji4]
I love these colors! I don't have any yellow bags, but I'm getting seriously inspired.

I want more colors for accessories, but I totally can coordinate some bags with what I have!

@ksuromax, thank you for the inspiration.

I typically wore my scarves when carrying Longchamp or monogram LV. Never thought to coordinate with bag color. Totally doing so during my rotations.
Oh my goodness, bake, what lovely pairings! Your style is fab.

This is my one and only enamel bangle, i opted for the signature piece - H-orange+coach+golden edge, and the belt in the same pattern, so they coordinate together, do not overload my look with logos and "hooray, i can buy luxury items" and go well with most of my clothes
apart from these i have a silver CDA, 2 silver rings for more casual looks and one KDE, so i have all needs and options covered without overdoing  dear God, Santa, Fairy Godmother, and whoever else concerned, please keep me away from other temptations ....
This is a wonderful look.

So, Orange and Yellow this week?
Nothing fancy
I wear rusty orange/orange/neon yellow tops and never needed a premier bag in either colour but still got a few low end ones just in case
Yellow small bag is italian hand-made artisan shop bag, neon is also italian hand-made but i got it from Gallery Laffayette in Dubai, brand name Sprinkles
Orange square tote i bought in Venice in a small artisan shop, triangle hobo is perforated hand-made italian leather which i found in Dubai outlet mall, small reddish orange and square satchel are both ri2k english brand, good leather but nothing special, perfectly serving its purpose
All very pretty!

View attachment 3631322 For orange/yellow week, the closest I have is this Alma. It's an older Alma and the color had a weird name that I can't remember. I hardly wear handhelds so Alma isn't in regular rotation. She's tucked in my "Legacy Box" where I keep bags that are classics in my life and I can't let go of ... at least not yet. Also, in the shot she looks in better shape than she actually is. The zipper is so glitchy and the inside has seen lots of action.
It's a lovely color. It's a shame it doesn't work better for you even though you love it!

I don't buy yellow and orange bags since black is my main neutral. I worry about looking like a bumble bee or Halloween. LOL! But I absolutely love citrusy colors. Maybe I'll rethink and buy one later on. I could always mix brights, or maybe do yellow with a mix of greys and black.

Anyway, my offering this week is actually a deletion from our color weeks from last year. I had this orange Dooney & Bourke bag. I loved how bright and vibrant it was but it just wasn't a fit for me. I was scared of scratching the leather (which is known for scratching) and there were many reports of the chains breaking. So, she found a new home -hopefully with someone who loves her.

Way to recognize what doesn't work for you!

Still traveling. I'm at an Old England themed hotel which is actually quite fun. My newest addition - Chanel single flap grey lamb jumbo with bijoux chain - made a new friend. My bag is the teeny grey speck at the bottom. :lol:View attachment 3631466
I'm only traveling for four days so I am struggling along with just two bags. LOL! I brought this one and my black PS Small Courier.
LOVE this action shot as well as the chance to drool over the bag again.

I can't find my orange/yellow pics from last year. But I definitely have less now since I've rehomed 2 RMs since. Actually, I have just one now. My Furla Plume in saffron. I just don't reach for orange bags so I'm staying away now from that color. One of the lessons learned.

This was a good one to keep.

Here it is
Gorgeous!

It's bright and sunny here and because I'm in my blue mood, I dug out this 09 officier out over the weekend.

This is so chic and stylish. Good choice.

Thanks for the good buyer vibe juju!

Last year we were talking about how there are some bags that - despite our best intentions - we just don't wear often enough in our closets. So we decided to pick either Wednesday's or Saturday's to wear those "never worn" bags. For some people it was easier to rotate in during the work week (Wed). Others it was easier to rotate in on the weekend (Sat).

It was a fun way to maximize usage in our closets without the "pressure" of month long challenges.

I know it was great for me because it caused me to prune a number of bags. I either didn't want to ever wear them or when I did I had to admit they just weren't working.
I'm kind of doing this now for March--I keep a list of my bag wears for the year, and I am trying to choose my daily bag from the ones I've only worn once or twice so far.

BUT I had a setback. I mentioned when I got the Vivienne that I was ready to get rid of a bag, and that was my Cambridge Satchel. I took it out of its usual place and put it right by my full-length mirror so that every morning when I was getting ready, I had the opportunity to try it on and see if it was a better match for my outfit than anything else I owned. For three weeks, it was not. I figured that was a sign to get rid of it since it was on the chopping block already.

And then it started raining here, and I didn't want to take out my more delicate bags. My epi LV would probably be fine, but I still don't want to needlessly expose them to bad weather. So I finally reached for the Cambridge Satchel, and I've managed to come up with some decent outfit pairings. I've now worn it three times this week because of our crappy weather, and I think I'm going to keep it after all even though it has fiddly clasps and will never get the amount of wears it really deserves.

I don't know if this is a success story or not. Whenever I start wearing a bag again, I always fall in love with it again rather than realizing why I don't wear it. And I would still like to get rid of a bag to allow for the Vivienne coming in.

If I go for the 50 mono with black trim. I'm leaning toward the carryall though as it's more stylish.

The carryall is more stylish lol.

I'm thinking of the Neonoe, if it came in the right color.

You are just nice and/or giving me the benefit of doubt. Either way it shows what a sparkling sweet person you are! Glowing, lovely pocket friend indeed!

Thank you. But I truly believe everyone has their own style here and I like how you confidently have yours.

Elaine your curry city is so so delightful!
I am freaking out about winter clothes. I just can't anymore!!!!!
I have put away my thickest fur lined items and super thick sweaters and really winter colored things because I cannot look at them anymore!!!!
Anyone with me? I'm just going to layer lighter, brighter things to be warm in all this snow.

 I know exactly what you mean. I can't even look at black anymore

And my little photobomber just upped her game and bombed into the room that we thought was locked at a pinnacle moment of her parents happy reunion after daddy's week long work trip. Morning delight fright! Or at least, startle! Thank god my father in law who is staying with us a couple days was not nearby to get an eye full when the door swung open (our bedroom opens on to the living room/foyer area, which I now see as a major layout flaw).

Ooops!

Great pop of colour and i am loving the strap!!
Thank you! Switching out the strap made all the difference. I found I wasn't carrying the bag at all, becuase the original strap on the City bag kept slipping off my shoulder. Now the bag is a lot more user-friendly! At first the Mautto strap didn't look great to me because none of the bag companies were making contrasting straps, but starting last year it's become a "thing," so now I'm pleased with the look.

I'm waiting for DD to finish her after school activity so I decided to do the "what's in my bag" to kill time. [emoji16]

In my bag, there're (from the bottom line from left to right)
my misc stuff pouch (you know what's in there yesterday),
my organizer (a hobonichi techo original size with a photo album insert, if you are into planners [emoji4]),
a PVC magazine freebie envelope contain bookbanks,
a freebie extra battery I got from my mobile provider (its light, very flat, and has built-in cable, so I retired my other two which are bulkier, heavier, and has no cable built-in),
wallet, and
a car remote control.

It's quite funny to realize I've been using freebies a lot. [emoji16] I have lots of pouches and stuff, but somehow the freebies work the best. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Did I just say I don't want to even look at black anymore? What was I thinking? ... That black bag is TDF!!!
