I still have to post my reds! High and low - Fendi 2jours and Reisenthel shopping tote...

Loving your Fendi!

Thank you!!
It perfectly matches my red BV hobo!
Congratulations on your first H scarf, it's beautiful.

I'll just start the yellow and orange week. [emoji4]

Here're my photo from last year.

The yellows. I did the yellow with purple and I only keep this photo. So, I'll just crop the purple out. [emoji4] Those can wait until purple week. [emoji6]

And the orange.

And this year, since we put the yellow and orange together, I'll just put them together.

The MBMJ is shot separately coz I keep it at the condo while the rest was shot this morning at my house and it's not new. I misplaced it during last year project and found it later.

I know I'll never use the other 2 orange bags, but I can't get rid of it. The flat tote is a wedding gift and the fat one has such a delicate embroidery I count as art so I just take them off the bag list and count them as a decoration. I now use the fat one to hold rolled-up socks and the flat one to hold rolled-up recycle plastic bag. I got the idea from Liz's basket last year. [emoji4]
Love your Lady Dior - gorgeous colour!

I want more colors for accessories, but I totally can coordinate some bags with what I have!

@ksuromax, thank you for the inspiration.

I typically wore my scarves when carrying Longchamp or monogram LV. Never thought to coordinate with bag color. Totally doing so during my rotations.
Awesome colour schemes for your accessories!

This is my one and only enamel bangle, i opted for the signature piece - H-orange+coach+golden edge, and the belt in the same pattern, so they coordinate together, do not overload my look with logos and "hooray, i can buy luxury items" and go well with most of my clothes
apart from these i have a silver CDA, 2 silver rings for more casual looks and one KDE, so i have all needs and options covered without overdoing  dear God, Santa, Fairy Godmother, and whoever else concerned, please keep me away from other temptations ....
Amazing coordinated set!

Hi Bake, to be honest it is not one of my most used bags. I bought it on a weekend I was traveling for a wedding. I liked the colour (was coveting a burgundy Chanel medium/large Classic Flap, which I did not buy because it was caviar and I preferred lambskin.) I purchased burgundy Ferragamo pumps and decided to get the matching colour Ginny shoulder bag. It is an elegant small capacity shoulder bag. I have reduced the number of small bags in my collection and I am not ready to let this one go. If you don't carry much in your bag or are able to pare down to essentials for an evening out - give it a try, it may work for you.

I think I will! I wanted the mini one but my phone won't fit in it. But I like the idea of matching it to one of my Ferragamo flats.

Reactions: More bags
Only one bag to offer for yellow/orange week: my Bal City bag in Curry. DH bought this for me as an early birthday present 3 years ago, and I specifically requested this color, since I had the Triple Tour bracelet in the same color and I thought they would be a fun match.
Long story short: I no longer have the bracelet, but I still have the bag! :hrmm:
I don't carry it often, because the color "pops" a bit more than I thought it would, but it's a good size for vacations (holds a lot and weighs next to nothing) and since it's my only City bag I don't intend to rehome it.
As you can see, I replaced the short leather strap with a canvas one by Mautto, because the shorter shoulder strap was always slipping off. At this length, I can carry it either on my shoulder or cross body, which is much more convenient. And since so many bag companies are now showing contrasting straps, this has actually become a semi-fashionable look!

I love what you're doing with the strap. I have problem with the strap, too and am long to solve it. The current trend is very good for me, too. I've never tried mine with the canvas strap though. Yours look great! Can I borrow the idea? [emoji6]

My pinks and reds were only Longchamp LePliages, my Bally travel bag, and my Longchamp suitcase. But they're primarily travel pieces, not part of my core collection.

I would love to add a red to my core collection. Like a Louboutin red or a burgundy/dark red. Not sure which would be better for me.
(Suggestions for a red/burgundy would be much welcomed, even after all the pics, I'm not sure what to go chasing after)

For orange and yellow, I still have my orange Evelyne. So I have orange covered!

Not sure if I could pull off yellow.
Speaking of Longchamps, a sister of mine was in Tokyo last week. She asked 2 boutiques there but they did not have the Mt. Fuji limited edition. She couldn't probe because the SA had difficulty with English.

Good that this realization came BEFORE buying it... sometimes i do it on purpose, when i am uncertain and indecisive, i offer low for the item and wait, if it's accepted - fine, i'll pay low, if not then basis a counter i judge my feelings and either pass, or carry on negotiation. But this really helps to clear up your mind to understand what you really want.
This is me too! 2 or 3 weeks ago, I chanced upon a cute RM MAMM (mini mini) in ebay, circa 2009 or 2010 but unused. It's priced well as it is, but there is Best Offer option. As I don't really want to add to my RMs, but I'm half-half on this, I bid low. Offer was declined. I would have preferred though that the seller sent me a counter offer. In the ebay thread here, I am actually surprised that some sellers block low ballers. Oh, I remember another experience, for another RM. I offered relatively low compared to the seller's price, but my offer was very reasonable still for the going rate on that piece. I think the seller gave a counter offer and I also countered. Then my offer was declined. I don't know if that bag sold later. I saw the seller later on downgrade the price to what I offered. But by then I was decided not to add anymore RMs.

Exactly the same happened to me with an old Bal Pewter Work, they declined my second offer and never sold that bag, a few months later they reduced the price down to 100 buck below my initial offer.... and i bought it! :D

I've done the same thing. And, I think subconsciously I was doing it on this bag as well. I'd like to get to the point where I am certain about the bags when I go down whatever road of buying. When I'm honest, I don't know that I even really wanted it at the offer price. :-s

These workhorse bags are really a dilemma. Some of the inherent constraints - no branding, conservative styling, durable, largeish size, etc. - are making it hard to find bags I love.

Add to that I'm really enjoying my collection right now. So the bar is getting higher for any potential new acquisitions. I don't want to buy anything unless a bag really is going to add to my happy factor.

I'm going to continue to pause until I find the right bags. There's no urgency until I change work situations which likely won't be til the end of the year. And perhaps I'll land in a situation less conservative, more fashionable or more brand elitist than I anticipate. Maybe everyone will be carrying limited edition Hermes and Delvaux and look on me with pity when I happily put put around in my current bags. It's all perspective right?

I've never understood the psychology on blocking offers below a certain price. I don't do that. In the rare case I do best offer on a listing, I always counter any low offer given. I feel it can't hurt to have a dialogue.

But 90% of the time I just do buy it now at the lowest price I'm willing to take. Once I want stuff gone I just want it gone.

Whatever makes you feel right and happy.
It can be a simple canvas hobo, or the most expensive 24 k gold hw Birkin, but you should feel confident when you click "pay now"

A happy ending!!

That time I sold through my US-based sister's ebay (I was visiting in the US then), I used auction, but I set the starting price to the minimum I was willing to sell the item for.

Agree entirely!
Sometimes by talking you get to a compromising agreement and both seller and buyer get what they want.
i tell what my budget is, and 2 times by asking to raise the direct PP invoice to avoid eb@y commissions i got price i could and was ready to pay.
By the way, both times on red bags....
