Still traveling. I'm at an Old England themed hotel which is actually quite fun. My newest addition - Chanel single flap grey lamb jumbo with bijoux chain - made a new friend. My bag is the teeny grey speck at the bottom. :lol:IMG_1571.JPG
I'm only traveling for four days so I am struggling along with just two bags. LOL! I brought this one and my black PS Small Courier.

Chanel bag on a LV chair?? ;)

Awww thanks. She's a sweetie and really wanted to roll around on top of the H scarf. 3 years old and fashion is already the pinnacle of her existence. That and dancing.
i saw your scarf and it's beautiful but then was distracted by the little cutie photobomber haha.

I test run this bag for my upcoming trip and so far so good. I'm taking her along with Longchamp medium Neo short handle. I've decided not to take a leather bag for weight considerations.

i think for traveling I'm only sticking to nylon and coated canvas. It just seems to make things easier.

Speaking of my continental wallet on a chain that just arrived!!!!View attachment 3630971View attachment 3630972View attachment 3630973

Laurel dasso made me this with 24 card slots! You cannot find one for love or money. 16 is usually the max, so I'm thrilled to actually have 1 slot empty and see everything so easily! Phone and lippie and chain when not in use fits fine in there, double gusset works great and it always closes without a struggle. Great black kidskin leather. I chose the catch on the front from the catalogue and am not unimpressed. I have 3 very similar locks on premier bags/SLG and this one seems just as luxe, just no engraved logo of course!
this looks great! Good choice on the lock, those kinds are my favourite haha.

Speaking of laurel dasso,
I think the neverfull is such a great bag but I want something one of a kind. I have an ingenious idea to get the same type of bag but be 1000% original. So, my mom paints and I love her artwork. I'm going to print up two favorite paintings (altered to only sepia tones) on canvas (spoonflower.com) , have laurel dasso coat the canvas and build me a tote in MM dimensions with black and brown leather trim. Damier ebene is lovely but my mom's artwork will make me even happier, plus being totally unique.

Was it Dcooney4 who paints? Maybe that's an idea for those of you who would be into a coated canvas bag that's totally unique, with your artwork as the design, with leather trim. At the very least I'll be showing you guys pix of my tote this summer when I get it!
what a great idea!

Here are mine, in the Blue BV i might have a pad/'pax if it's around those day...
so organized! And your pouches are gorgeous.

Nothing glamorous here. In that simple dragonfly pouch that you saw, the front compartment is reserved for DD's elastic rubber band for the hair.

View attachment 3631112

Then, inside are
- 2 bandaids
- 2 Tylenol
- some candies, for both DD and I
- the glass tube with silver cap and green label you saw is the local multipurpose oil. You can use it as inhaler when someone is about to faint, massage on the tired muscle, put on the bug bite to prevent swallowing, or smell it just to freshen the spirit. I always have one with me. Sometimes, just different brands, but there'll always one.
- the transparent green bottle on the white ziplock bag is the eye drop.
- the silver bag with Japanese cartoon (Anpanman) character is the special bandaids for DD when she gets the mosquito bites (the oil gives off a "too hot" feeling for her.)
- a thumb drive that can be used on iPhone.
- a tinted lip cream

This is all I take with me everyday. Someday, I may add a special lipstick for the day, but these are the staple.

I also stash a bill and some extra name card in there, just in case.

There're slots on one wall of the pouch and they help me organize the inside.

hat is so compact and organized, love it!

It's here!!!!
My first Hermes scarf!!
beautiful color scheme, the red is so vibrant.

I'll just start the yellow and orange week. [emoji4]

Here're my photo from last year.

The yellows. I did the yellow with purple and I only keep this photo. So, I'll just crop the purple out. [emoji4] Those can wait until purple week. [emoji6]

And the orange.

And this year, since we put the yellow and orange together, I'll just put them together.

The MBMJ is shot separately coz I keep it at the condo while the rest was shot this morning at my house and it's not new. I misplaced it during last year project and found it later.

I know I'll never use the other 2 orange bags, but I can't get rid of it. The flat tote is a wedding gift and the fat one has such a delicate embroidery I count as art so I just take them off the bag list and count them as a decoration. I now use the fat one to hold rolled-up socks and the flat one to hold rolled-up recycle plastic bag. I got the idea from Liz's basket last year. [emoji4]
your yellows are such great shades!

My ban ends on April 1st!

3 months of no new bags and SLGs despite the temptation at valentines for that wallet DBF offered to buy.

Not sure how long to extend my ban for. Probably for another quarter. LV showed me promising new releases, but they didn't capture me enough to put my name down.

But I'm surprised how successful I have been so far.
you've done so well! Way to go!

I want more colors for accessories, but I totally can coordinate some bags with what I have!

@ksuromax, thank you for the inspiration.

I typically wore my scarves when carrying Longchamp or monogram LV. Never thought to coordinate with bag color. Totally doing so during my rotations.
these look great together!

That's a toddler butt there in pink on my cat hair covered sofa, but have to enjoy the compliment because literally no one has ever noticed it before. I went through a phase of being really into award winning jewel cutters and buying loose precious and semi precious stones from them, to make into jewelry. Gold was expensive at the time so I took these stones to a local jeweler with a bunch of scrap gold about 9 years ago and had him melt it all down and make this really heavy duty sturdy necklace with all the stones bezel set so no sharp places. So I can wear it for days, weeks, even months without needing to change it because I don't worry about it breaking off and getting lost and with a rainbow of colors it matches everything. Gold never irritates my skin of course. I am just lazy about jewelry so something I put on and forget is really handy. View attachment 3631248
that is a really gorgeous necklace. I inherited 2 bracelets of similar idea with the diff colored stones - I think mine is just simple crystal but I love the colors. You've reminded me to wear them.

Thanks for reminding me, this bracelet my Son gifted me for my birthday in Oct, he got it with his pocket money, picked all by himself reasoning his choice - Mum's got so many and so different pieces, this multi colour bracelet should match and go well with all she has!
thats so sweet and thoughtful of him.

I cant wait until my sons start neing such thoughtful little dears. Assuming they one day do! You have a darling boy! Mine one time made me a stool in shop class and painted it my favorite color. That was kind of sweet that he knows my favorite shade of blue that reminds me of my tropical birthplace in the Pacific Ocean. But no purchased gifts yet!
he made you a stool? That's amazing! That's super sweet.

So, Orange and Yellow this week?
Nothing fancy :)
I wear rusty orange/orange/neon yellow tops and never needed a premier bag in either colour but still got a few low end ones just in case :D
Yellow small bag is italian hand-made artisan shop bag, neon is also italian hand-made but i got it from Gallery Laffayette in Dubai, brand name Sprinkles
Orange square tote i bought in Venice in a small artisan shop, triangle hobo is perforated hand-made italian leather which i found in Dubai outlet mall, small reddish orange and square satchel are both ri2k english brand, good leather but nothing special, perfectly serving its purpose :)
i love that Italian handmade one - reminds me of a lemon and lemons always put a smile on my face. They just seem so cheery.

View attachment 3631322 For orange/yellow week, the closest I have is this Alma. It's an older Alma and the color had a weird name that I can't remember. I hardly wear handhelds so Alma isn't in regular rotation. She's tucked in my "Legacy Box" where I keep bags that are classics in my life and I can't let go of ... at least not yet. Also, in the shot she looks in better shape than she actually is. The zipper is so glitchy and the inside has seen lots of action.
beautuiful alma

We should have an Alma weekend!!!

I didn't realize so many had Almas.

We could do it for any style several have. And if someone doesn't have the exact bag, something in a similar shape.
thats a good idea! I won't be able to join but I'll love looking at them.

I still have to post my reds! High and low - Fendi 2jours and Reisenthel shopping tote...

View attachment 3631110
Cute tote! I have one like it in a camouflage print. Reisenthel totes are my favorite. I have one of their foldable baskets, which are great for lugging picnic and beach stuff, books, a potluck dish, etc. Every time I take it to an event, someone ultimately comments on how nice a basket it is.

This is my one and only enamel bangle, i opted for the signature piece - H-orange+coach+golden edge, and the belt in the same pattern, so they coordinate together, do not overload my look with logos and "hooray, i can buy luxury items" and go well with most of my clothes
apart from these i have a silver CDA, 2 silver rings for more casual looks and one KDE, so i have all needs and options covered without overdoing  dear God, Santa, Fairy Godmother, and whoever else concerned, please keep me away from other temptations ....
Someday I hope to find a nice perforated leather bag like yours.

Another one here with an Alma.

Yesterday, I saw a lady wearing an Alma-like bag on her arm. It was a Coach, I think. I went into a Coach boutique for the first time in years out of curiosity. Wanted to see the popular Rogue bag, which is actually very nice. I might have considered this bag if I was 15 years younger! Most of the Rogue models have embellishments or too much hardware for my taste.

Your yellows and oranges always get me. I love them. Is your yellow Chanel a 10c?
And what color is that amazing Dior?? It's like a red grapefruit color. I would love a bag in this not quite orange not quite pink citrusy color.

And, smart use of those totes!! :smartass:
This a such a fun range of bags!

-----

I don't buy yellow and orange bags since black is my main neutral. I worry about looking like a bumble bee or Halloween. LOL! But I absolutely love citrusy colors. Maybe I'll rethink and buy one later on. I could always mix brights, or maybe do yellow with a mix of greys and black.

Anyway, my offering this week is actually a deletion from our color weeks from last year. I had this orange Dooney & Bourke bag. I loved how bright and vibrant it was but it just wasn't a fit for me. I was scared of scratching the leather (which is known for scratching) and there were many reports of the chains breaking. So, she found a new home -hopefully with someone who loves her.

Thanks. [emoji4] The jumbo isn't 10C. It's a 12P mimosa with light GHW. [emoji4]. It's lamb. If it were cavier, I'm sure I'd worry less. [emoji4] The LD is coral, I think. There's definitely the word coral in the color name. I'm just not sure if that's the only word. And your description is quite accurate. It's the color of the red grapefruit. It leans pink in some color, but it's not really pink. And it's not actually orange either. I put it here coz coral is orange in my definition, but she actually is closer to pink than yellow. [emoji4]

Only one bag to offer for yellow/orange week: my Bal City bag in Curry. DH bought this for me as an early birthday present 3 years ago, and I specifically requested this color, since I had the Triple Tour bracelet in the same color and I thought they would be a fun match.
Long story short: I no longer have the bracelet, but I still have the bag! :hrmm:
I don't carry it often, because the color "pops" a bit more than I thought it would, but it's a good size for vacations (holds a lot and weighs next to nothing) and since it's my only City bag I don't intend to rehome it.
As you can see, I replaced the short leather strap with a canvas one by Mautto, because the shorter shoulder strap was always slipping off. At this length, I can carry it either on my shoulder or cross body, which is much more convenient. And since so many bag companies are now showing contrasting straps, this has actually become a semi-fashionable look!
