I love your Mulberry Lilly!!! :heart: I have been so tempted with this bag. I even thought of it for a workhorse. But I have enough flaps (yes. I'm saying this til I mean it. lol! ) and need something with more capacity and no chain strap for a workhorse. So I'm still on the hunt for my perfect bordeaux bag and / or a great workhorse.

You, however, have done a great job in picking a range of bordeaux / burgundy bags across styles and even with nuance in shades. Which are your favorites? Any on the chopping block?

Beautiful reds! Your edit of the Alma was perfect. And , I am still loving your burgundy patent!! I neeeeeeed a burgundy / bordeaux bag in my life. It's one of my favorite colors for bags and I don't have one. I think I love the color so much I'm putting a lot of pressure on getting the "perfect" one. Lol!

Are you still loving your Henri Bendel bag? Do you wear it? It may be time to upgrade (nudge, nudge. lol!)

I really love your Tom Ford. I love how unique it is and the color really works for it. It allows everyone to see the shape and structure. (I saw it in black and was unmoved - not nearly as pretty.) But I can't get myself excited to own brown yet. :-s

The talk / showcases of burgundy bags made me remember a bag I "sorta" have. It's in purgatory because I don't think I'll wear it again but haven't bothered to list it.

I may have to look. I was JUST thinking about the Lady Web yesterday. :love: I love saddle bags and no one does saturated color suede / nubuck like Gucci. I guess I would just have to baby it like I do my teal nubuck Soho shoulder bag.

I never put any product on anything but I do spray all Gucci nubuck and suede a few times between first wears, so far all fine. I think I have 5 Gucci nubck bags: signature brown 1970 crossbody; travel half-moon; Prussian Blue Babushka; dark red Med Lady Web; orange/tan Soho Disco (prob. same year as your teal shoulder bag). I totally think it's worth buying for the look and feel but I don't go any lighter than mid-shade colours.

Yes, I think we've talked about this before - my fear vs. your experience with the bags. :doh:

On another thread, I had mentioned that I called Gucci and they said they no longer clean the nubuck. You said you were going to double check. Did you find out anything differently that I was told? If I felt I could send the bags into Gucci for cleaning I would be much more brave. I'm afraid to buy them and then send them to a regular suede cleaner should tragedy strike. I just wouldn't have faith a third party would do a good job.

My SA says I can bring them in anytime so could it be a US thing?

Thanks you were so right the alma needed to go. The glamlock is my absolute fav in this color. I know your considering a workhorse in oxblood but what about a flap or something from LV since your now open to them?

I only wore the Henri bendel once so I need to see in trip mode to determine. It fits my travel essentials and I don't want to send for Chanel mini....actually I'm on the fence about it. Summer travels will tell all

The Tom Ford is the perfect color and so under the radar, I mean seriously no one knows what it is. It's more of congac color than actual brown. You will definitely not be wowed by your brown.

I love the color of this Coach bag. Are you looking for oxblood in patent? I feel the color saturation is better in patent on this color. The fingerprints are bummer though
