I thought it was burgundies and reds this week. I posted both already just separate photos.I'll post my burgundies on a different week then. I don't know which existing category to put them. Will a new category be made for them?

I was, too... and now i have Lily and Daria and cannot be more happyStill lusting over a burgundy / oxblood Mulberry. *sigh*
Love it - great tips!I spent a decade acquiring really thick, kitten soft cashmere sweater coats. I am a cashmere sweater coat junkie. I have more than a dozen of them, cardigans with pockets that are so thick that I can even go out with them if I'm just walking to and from the car, and be warm, and that are so soft, I prefer it to cotton for next-to-skin. Of course I wear a cotton or bamboo long sleeved top and leggings as loungewear at home and throw them into the machine daily and my cashmere sweater coats that I use mostly at home but occasionally out in the wild are rarely hand washed, but they are just a lifestyle staple because I LIVE IN THE MOTHER EFFING ARCTIC and man I hate being cold. I even sleep in them on top of my Jammies sometimes because I don't want to be chilly at night and I get seriously chilled if my upper arms and chest lose contact with the blanket, and in my family bed with 4 of us at the moment, my own coverage isn't always happening.
Anyways, I just wanted to chime in and say that I am a cashmere junkie. Only 100%, only so thick that it will not wear out (it's quite a delicate fiber so my thinner sweaters, even 'cable knit' ones will eventually get holes), so that means so thick that it literally feels heavy to pick up, like an actual coat, but it's just a crazy thick sweater cardigan. I have even been known to splurge on 4 digit retail price tag designer ones, but always for a steal second hand (so just a couple hundred dollars). I used to have a running ebay alert for 'thick chunky cable cashmere 100%' and once in a blue moon find something really amazing for a steal. Or scour second hand designer boutiques in cities when I am there.... Now I just have an entire collection and need no more, and I rely on the wonderfulness of cashmere every single day. Could not do winter without it!
I love this new bag, Annabel Lee! Such a sleek shape... very stylish. ikwym about a small card case for your smaller bags. I have one by Mulberry that I bought last year, that works perfectly. It holds just a few cards, plus $20 for emergencies.Well, since you asked . . .
The flats I bought are at the top. They also have them in a pewter color I'm strongly considering if these fit well. I need both a light and a dark gray. I don't have many neutral flats, and grays always work well for me. I like pointed toes and a slight heel with no metal hardware. This is harder to find than one might think.

And of course, the LV:
I can't tell you how happy I am about the card case. I've been looking for something like this for a long time, because most of my evening bags don't fit my regular wallet. When I travel and keep switching out between a day bag and an evening bag, I'm not great about getting everything BACK to the day bag.
This has been a real pain, so I wanted to get one tiny wallet that holds everything I might need for a weekend away. This is deep enough to hold a few cards, and it doesn't have card slots (the bane of my existence).
The bag was not on my radar, but the color has been--I have and wear a lot of olive green, so I can definitely use a bag in that shade. The clincher on buying this, though, was that I've been wanting a dressy day bag (if that makes sense). I don't have anything suitable for attending a matinee at the theater or a nice afternoon baby shower or wedding--most of my nice bags are either clearly evening bags, or they're just really big and not a good choice for keeping in the lap at an event.
Gorgeous!Ok, then here's my BORDEAUX group

This olive green is beautiful. What a wonderful neutral.
That fits more than my travel essentials. I'll definitely keep this one in mind!
And I love the Vivienne wallet too! Very pretty!
Beautiful bag!! What shoes are those? Sorry if you mentioned it previously.
Real wow pieces, that bag is TDF, I love the colour
I can't wait to see! I think it's still an "in" for this year since you just got it, but that does make it confusing. When you buy stuff from IndieGoGo or Kickstarter, sometimes, you just forget what you backed.

I just picked up a package from the post office today. It's a bag. Then, I remember I backed an anti-theft crossbody bag last year. It's supposed to have slash-proof, waterproof fabric and detachable chain strap to prevent cutting, etc. I'll unbox it later and see the final features. My old trusty Huskie is getting soft and should get more rest.
Should this be a buy for last year or this year? I normally count stuff when I get it, but this is like over a year. [emoji848]
Sounds like a silver lining, maybe? I'm glad the program will be exciting. Thanks everyone. I hate my grad program so I was desperate for a change but I got into a much better grad program that I was playing tourist in last fall with my electives and I will now just get excited to transfer in a few months . I have many credits completed already so it will take me a year and a half to do the program. And I'll enjoy it!
I am not an expert on cashmere, I just know what I like - I have had good luck with Vince, Equipment, Eileen Fisher and Holt Renfrew brands. I've read many people online love Everlane and Uniqlo.
My tips:
Read the label, when I'm on the hunt for cashmere I look for high percentage cashmere content, specifically 100% cashmere vs. 85% wool/15% cashmere. I have also enjoyed silk/cashmere blends. Just my preference, there's nothing wrong with blends if you want a lower price point - it's just important to know what you're paying for. I like thinner cashmere sweaters which are great for layering, thicker cashmere sweaters and cashmere cardigans.

Thank you to everyone for the cashmere suggestions! My mom used to work for a major U.S. department store back when the store had its own label. I've gotten several of her old pieces from that line as hand-me-downs, including a few cashmere sweaters and cardigans. They're really soft and luxurious, but their age is beginning to show, and some of the newer stuff I've bought just isn't as niceFor cashmere lovers:

By the way, I am licking my wounds of disappointment and bought a bag I have had my eye on for 7 years. It is preloved in my price range and I am so glad to get it, as this bag has been in the back of my mind as the only fendi that has ever been SO my style, and I've never gotten over it. Now I don't have to.
Thought it would be interesting to tell you guys about it because I have read so much anti brown bag sentiment on here. So many of you are so over brown bags or never liked them or are just starting to tolerate them after never liking them, and blah blah blah. Whereas I LOVE earth toned and natural toned leather. Especially lighter tones, but not super light like white or ivory because that's just scary. But I like a pretty beige and tan in spring and summer.. Even year round. So here is the bag I bought today.
Reminds me of the pilot episode of Friends when Rachel is licking her wounds about not getting a job by buying new boots. She calls them her, 'I don't need a job because I have these new boots' boots, or something to that effect. I guess this bag is my shopping therapy as well. But I really don't feel any qualms or doubts about it and after seven years of it being 'one that got away' and a bag I always wanted, now it will be a forever bag in my collection. I'm sure. That feeling is rare! Plus I am getting an 80% discount from retail for being such a patient little puppy for all these years and waiting for it to be in my price range, preloved. Yay. No almost bag for me, this is the only fendi that has ever sung the true siren song to me but budget stood in the way. Now I will get her! And all my favorite beiges and tans in there, in a lovely subtle colorblock making her match very many of my shoes, boots, jackets, and coats.View attachment 3625761
That's great that worked out in recouping your costs! The Alma is a pretty bag, but I don't think it's nicer than what your other reds provide. It took me awhile to get to that point. I actually held it a year longer because I was on the fence. The resale market is pretty good for them. I only lost 200 bucks from my initial purchase price. When you factor in time frame it was like having for free
I love this with the charm!
I have just one, but I am loving the additional pictures I see now.Question: does burgundy fall in the red bags category? I noticed that no one has shown any burgundy or oxblood bags yet, unless I missed it. Finally have a chance to take a pic of my red bags today.
Oh my goodness, ksuromax, these are all amazing! I can't pick a favorite.Ok, then here's my BORDEAUX group

Really? It's a pretty bag. Do you know why you aren't reaching for it?I love my alma but rarely if ever wear it. I am not ready to part with mine but I am thinking about it.

Beautiful reds! Your edit of the Alma was perfect. And , I am still loving your burgundy patent!! I neeeeeeed a burgundy / bordeaux bag in my life. It's one of my favorite colors for bags and I don't have one. I think I love the color so much I'm putting a lot of pressure on getting the "perfect" one. Lol!2016 vs 2017
I really love your Tom Ford. I love how unique it is and the color really works for it. It allows everyone to see the shape and structure. (I saw it in black and was unmoved - not nearly as pretty.) But I can't get myself excited to own brown yet.I like brown and tan bags...both my workhorse bags are in these colors. They are great neutrals.
