Spark, pink is in red group, isnt it? You should show group pic of them here for this week. I wanna see [emoji259]
LOL! I'm happy to share but I have to wait til the right week. We're doing pinks with violet and purples. Here are our upcoming color weeks:

• Yellow & Orange (starts Sun 3/12)
• Green
• Blue & Indigo (including LV azur)
• Violet, Purple & Pink
• Black
• Grey (including LV graphite)
• White & cream
• Brown & tan (including LV mono & ebene)
• Metallics (gold, silver, bronze, copper, etc.)
• Jeweled, sequined & all other embellished
• Multicolored

I wish I was able to do one and only for things! I admire your ability to do so, as well as your gorgeous accessories!

I wish I could apply the same to bags and scarves too, with those it's more 'one at a time'. Sometimes I'm not even capable of even that LOL. At least I can justify (almost) since I wear those daily.

I don't know how others feel about which pieces of jewellery they buy and easily justify? Rings are the best value for me because I also wear daily and they don't get in the way, whereas bracelets, bangles and necklaces not so much. Though there is an H horn pendant calling my name and some amazing wooden Summer bangles - so we shall see this year.

We have to find our control where we can. lol! One at a time is a good start!!

You bring up an interesting question about which jewelry pieces we most easily justify. For me, it's necklaces and earrings. I wear and switch them daily depending on neckline, hairstyle, style of clothing, etc. But, I'm super picky and have a very nice collection. So while I'll buy when I'm tempted, it takes a lot to tempt me.

Bracelets are huge temptations but I restrain myself. When I'm working, they bang against the desktop so I end up taking them off. Plus cuffs and bangles (my favorite styles) get scratched from me moving through life so I'm always taking them in to get polished. I usually restrict bracelets to my non work life.

Rings are lesser temptations. I have nice pieces and don't crave new ones. Also I usually don't like more than one ring on each hand. So that limits wear opportunities.

Last year, I decided didn't want any more costume jewelry. So, I went through everything and donated, gifted or pitched all of it except except for a very few pieces (and they're getting the side eye as I haven't found an occasion to wear what's left.) My goal this year is to replace most of those items with fine jewelry. My costume items were mostly casual, fun pieces. But, I decided I was big girl and could wear real jewelry casually without losing it. LOL! So I don't know that I'm tempted this year as much as deliberately completing my to buy list.

In person v online shopping - I realized that one reason I like online shopping is that it's like getting random presents in the mail. I was just sitting in my home office working and the doorbell rang. It was the mail carrier with the sunglasses I purchased. I was truly giddy going back to my desk to unwrap and see my new addition.

In person, shopping, however is horrendous to me. I hate wandering a mall, I don't like to deal with salespeople and I don't want to lug anything home. The whole thing feels like a time waste and hassle.

I know many people in real life and here on TPF that are just the opposite. They love the shopping experience and don't like / just tolerate buying online.

If all of us have the same end goal of getting the perfect things for our wardrobe, I wonder what makes shopping styles different? Why is it my mother and DD can shop for days but I turn green at the idea of spending 30 precious minutes in a store? Did the shopping gene skip me? LOL!!

Love that!

I have one, and I love it! The hinge is easy to open/close. It's the medium width one. I like the weight of it, not light or heavy, just substantial. I haven't walked back into Hermes since I bought it for fear that I will spend money when I'm supposed to just browse. (Yeah, right.)

I also have this cute enamel scarf ring (you can wear it on chain or cord too as jewellery)

and you can turn scarf rings and scarves into jewellery (the ring is a fine gold and enamel from Frey Wille, I would prob never wear it as a scarf ring but you never know)

For the money I prefer Gucci. This bracelet is solid silver, gold and enamel and I have others LOL

I dont have a yellow nor orange bag. I guess I will use Vermillion Miss Dior for next week then (as it has orange undertone), or multicolor bag, or a black ?

For our color showcase, we're just showing photos of our bags. It's a way for us to appreciate them, get feedback, and show them off to people who "get" it so we're more enthusiastic about shopping our closets. It also inspires better curating. And we get to learn about other bags we're interested in / curious about.

So, there isn't a requirement to wear them that week. Just enjoy. And, I don't have yellow, orange or green bags. So I'll enjoy seeing everyone else's pretty bags those weeks.

But you bring up something - we don't have a group bag wearing challenge this week
or month. A few people mentioned they are doing their own challenges. For those who are doing their own challenges: what are you doing and how is it going?
