But hurray!! DBF is absolutely thrilled, his poor old car was on its last leg and hopefully this lasts just as long as his old one did.


Hoping my car lasts a few more years so I won’t have to go through this anytime soon haha.

Oh... no... [emoji33][emoji33][emoji33] I hope not! [emoji33][emoji33][emoji33] Frenzy isn’t healthy. [emoji28] Plus, I find myself enjoying simple totes more and more. What I already have are more than plenty to fit the bill. That’s what I’m feeling now.

If I was still in the return period, I’d bring it back, but it’s too late for that. Beautiful color, but being honest with myself, I’m not a red bag person (although I love them on others, I just don’t naturally gravitate to them). Frustrated with myself over that one!

I’m interested in LC Mademoiselle, too. I planned to checked it out at the duty free, but somehow forgot even though I was in their boutique to pick up the LP for a colleague. I didn’t walk back when I realized that I forgot. I just think it’s fate. I already have too many bags at the moment anyway.

The gray is very pretty. I heard it’s sold out and very popular. How much can you fit into the Mademoiselle with the crossbody strap? A year or two? If I’m still into it and if it’s still in production. It’s a very pretty bag with a versatile look so I hope it will.

They know my “hobby” and wanted me to have the only bag remaining of their Nonni’s special bags from the leather school in the Basilica di Santa Croce (I checked the text from my nieces as to where it comes from.) There’s a shop called Modern Leather here in New York that does really good work in relining and other repairs. BV sends people there, I believe.

It was hard to get a pic of this bag; the sides are suede and it seems to eat the light up. It’s also well worn so I’ll see what Modern Leather can do with that. I had to lighten the first one a lot so it’s a little blurry. Here it is ...

That’s such a pretty bag with a great story. I hope you can find a good leather-man to restore it.

Happy weekend ladies, hope we are all doing great.

Used my favorite MM in DA today and i am seriously crushing on this little bag. Fits more than I thought it would.
I’m actually considering selling my pochette accessoires DE to get another favorite MM in DE [emoji16].

There were only two bags that I regretted getting a few years ago. Surprisingly, they were LV.

One was a flap bag, the Cluny in a beautiful pewter Epi. The color grabbed me, but the shape really didn’t. The second was an Empreinte bag (forgot the name as it was unpopular) that was bulky and the big, wide opening was awful. It looked pretty, but it was the most difficult bag to get in and out of. I figured out quickly that they didn’t work for me, so I returned them for a full refund.

Edit: The name came to me—the bulky LV was the Trocadero.
