looking fabulous!
Thanks!!!!!
I'm guessing a tangerine bag will be very beautiful as I have a swatch and I think there was a reveal before. The full size Minerva was I think the first profile pic of M handbags, and I really liked it then! And I'm glad it has worked for me in the midi! My first one which I have rehomed had the standard specs, but for this red, I asked for top zipper closure and no central compartment. In hindsight I think I should have asked for the longer front flap too. Btw, I love your nabuk version!!
Yes I love my swatch too, it just glows. I have shied away from a single orange bag in my life but this one I think will pair with black and not look halloweeny, which was my fear, or with white and not look too ‘Go, Vols-y!’ (For those of you who know college football, University of Tennessee....East Tennessee is covered with the college colors of orange and white so I have a knee jerk association). It’s close enough to red for me to want to venture and try an orange bag!

I love the nabuk one too, emmaR is so sweet to sell it to me for fifty euros, I really owe her an amazing deal one day if she wants one of my bags that are on the chopping block. I don’t think I would do top zipper, I love the magnetic closure because I find it strong enough to really work well to keep the bag nice and shut. I don’t think I can do full size MM bags , the midis are enough for me!! I will try to be good
And resist the urge for tangerine for some months though.

I love your top five. I think they have real staying power too.
Thanks DC! I have yet to compare this list with my top 10 most used list but I think these 5 are also in there.
Thanks!!!!!

50 euros?!! Wow!!! I check the BST page only once in a while so I don't see all the deals. :)

I wore my silver microcannage Diorama today. This is absolutely my favorite bag.:yahoo: I paired it with jeans, a one shoulder multi colored blue top and silver strappy sandals. Simple silver jewelry finished the look.

Again, I'm too lazy to put this in Stylebook. :whut: I wish I had saved stock photos of everything when I bought them. Oh well. My probation closet will let me know what needs to go next year. Lol! View attachment 3884009

So beautiful, like filigree metal work!

I know right! There was some denim transfer on the back near the bottom but my magic eraser removed it to the point where it’s reallllly not noticeable. It was slight in the first place.

So I ordered one with long flap in blue Aquila Matte because I really didn’t have any kind of navy bag. Or dark blue beyond my deep blue africa midi angel. SO that’s why I felt like okay, the most major hole is filled, I can ban.But it is a major struggle for me.

I am still thinking of possibly trying a ban after the holidays are over and after any exchanges are made, if any. I might have a small bag out today if my friend decides she wants it. I need to get a firm list of my slgs. My best friend needs a new wallet and I have so many I would love to just let her pick from the ones I don't use. My dilemma is there is one a close relative gave me years ago but never used. I think it would fit her style perfectly but it is like a $400.00 dollar wallet. He has since bought me a different one . Would it be bad to just give it to her? It was a wallet that he could not easily afford at the time but still surprised me with, though it is not my style. I guess guilt has made me keep it but It won't be worn . What would you do?

I am possibly where you are, as far as a ban dcooney. I am not ready to commit right now, but may be at the beginning of 2018.

I would let your friend have the wallet if it is the one she wants, dcooney. It was pricey, but since you have never used it, it doesn’t make sense to just keep it in your closet. Since she’s your best friend, it makes sense to give it to her, imo.

I would use the wallet that my loved one gifted me with at great sacrifice to himself because I’m a mushy sentimental like that and I would love it no matter what it looked like, because of the symbolism.
Wait, this helps you not at all!

It is beautiful but I don't like how the cc go in and out of it and the color is brown but not a brown that goes with any of my brown bags. I will see which one she prefers and go from there. I have other things that he bought me that I love and use. He also lives a few hundred miles away and would never know.

Thats a tough one; knowing he couldn’t really afford it but he got it for me would make me hesitate in letting go. On the other hand you’re not using it. To be honest i truly don’t know what i do. I may hold on to it simply because of guilt. Or give your friend outright and not collect any money for it

Today to church then to the mall with a Never Wear bag, but I must say I loved using her! This LV was my first premiere designer bag and predates my membership in tpf. I've styled her with a sleeveless top from Debenhams, cropped pants from Uniqlo, ballerina flats from Tod's and Gucci scarf used as belt. The necklace was given to me long before I knew how to accessorize, I think by an aunt overseas?

Let it go. Does anyone ever ask you about the gifts they’ve given? I’ve never been asked. If your friend will choose it, that’s where it should go.

These are just things at the end of the day. You’ll always remember the effort and the thoughtfulness behind a gift, but you don’t need the gift on hand to remember all that.

And I totally encourage a ban for you after the holidays, even for a short time, to enjoy your recently acquired goodies!

ETA: Ban island would also give you time to re-evaluate what you currently have vs what you need or need to let go of.

I have a couple of suggestions to make it feel better about giving it away. First of all, your best friend is also a loved one. I imagine you think of her like a sister; it would be ok if you gave away a gift to a sister, right? Secondly, I imagine you have had this wallet a few years. What if you imagine it was a well used wallet? I don’t think your loved one would mind you giving a worn out wallet away. Lastly, to offset the value of the wallet (in case your BFF may be hesitant to accept it), you can always trade for something non monetary but of value to you e.g.house sitting the next time you go on vacation, helping you go through your closets, things like that. To sum up, you think it’s perfect for her, it’s a great idea and gift and your loved one won’t mind you giving a ‘used’ wallet away
