19 Flap Bag Club!

Lovely ladies which is the best size to get in the 19 bag ? I don't have a Chanel Boutique in my city here in Australia so I can't try them out to see what suits me best.

imo def small! it’s roomy enough (like a jumbo), the strap is the best length for crossbody wear and I think will hold up better as it’s not as slouchy as it’s larger variations. good luck with your purchase, can’t wait to see what you end up with. i’m obsessed with the 2 I have, most used in my collection

Yours is same as mine. Still love it. I don’t see them as wrinkles but rather characteristic of the leather itself. Here’s a photo from the store and the one I took. As long as the “wrinkles” move and not permanent like creases, I’m fine with it since it is leather after all. I already bought a samorga organizer to help keep its shape.

Absolutely the SMALL!!!. I have a small black goatskin and the size is perfect. Plenty of room (holds much more than my small Classic flap and only slightly less than my large Reissue which is roughly the size of the Jumbo -- and I have a bag organizer in it, which reduces the interior capacity a bit), wears well crossbody, and no sag. I personally don't care for the 19 in the larger sizes. It looks saggy and sloppy to me, no offense intended to anyone. The small is perfection!

I wish Chanel would make the 19 in goatskin again but all my SA’s say it will be lambskin from now on. I bought a black small lambskin 19 and haven’ worn it yet - but you tubers that have both a lambskin and a goatskin say the goatskin is more durable. Can those of you who have a lambskin 19 for a while let us no how it wears- easily scratched? My SA said the lambskin is not treated on the 19.

I bought the 2mm organizer from samorga but hasn’t arrived yet. In the meantime, I store it stuffed laying flat to avoid sagging. I also don't lock the flap so it won't leave any marks on the leather.

Hello Chanel 19 owners! Do you all use a base shaper AND and organizer? I have the small/medium size. Also do you use the bag in fall/winter when it can rain or snow?

I use the stuffing pillow and no sagging so far when storing there are some options on etsy

Thank you so much for your help. That is great that it holds around the same amount as a Jumbo. That would be perfect. I think I definately will go for the small and I understand what you mean about the larger sizes looking saggy and sloppy now I have had a good look at lots of photo's.

Thank you so much for your help. It is much appreciated. I love that it will hold the amount of a Jumbo. Just perfect for my needs. Here's hoping I find the perfect one for me hopefully for a good price.

I ordered one from Amazon since I want to get right the way. My SA said to lay flat also and keep the chain away from the bag. As much as the crease/wrinkle bothering me abit...im not returning her and cant wait to use her. Now I want more 19!! I want small in light grey...but couldnt find one in store any more

Can you please report back once you receive it? Curious how you feel about the fit. I bought one for my small 19 and I was surprised that it wasn’t a perfect fit. Was trying to decide if I should reorder but as custom and make some adjustments.

Sure will do. Did you order from samorga as well? I am also thinking of getting the double layered one from zoomoni but I saw a review that it is taking too much space already and adding more weight to the bag.

Yes I did. All my organizers are samorga. I actually ordered two different colors just because. They both fit the same. It surprised me it wasn’t a perfect fit on this one.

Hi. Did you just get this bag? My SA told me today that they aren’t getting this shade of beige anytime soon! Is this color called brown or dark beige on the tag? If you could share the color code it would be very helpful.

Yes I just bought it last October 11. It is the brown from the 21K collection. But the community calls it caramel, the same as the 21P caramel/brown (NB356) that became popular. Here is the code if it helps.
