So I own the 19 in dark beige and the other day I spilled coffee on the back of the bag. It didn't leave any stains that I can see but the coffee went inside the back pocket. The bag smells like coffee but doesn't look like it left any stains besides inside the pocket. It also got on the chain on the top of the bag and it was hard to soak up the coffee in between the chain and bag. should I take it to a leather cleaner to get cleaned or just leave it alone?

oh wow! i'm glad to hear it didn't stain!
I have the dark beige 19 as well - i brought it out when it was sprinkling and i felt like the rain drops instantly seeped into the leather vs beading off. Luckily it dried and there are no marks but I'm definitely weary of bringing it out if there is any precipitation.

Thank you. I have also gotten olive oil on it before and water but it always dried normal but never applied any protectant because it never showed up as a stain but maybe I should have. The back has also gotten a bit dirty. I emailed the website to see if they could help out since the chat wasn't available and I'm waiting on a response.
I hope they reply soon and your bag gets fixed asap. As for the protectant, it is just my personal preference especially for delicate bags because of my fear of things like this to happen and it works for me very well. I also use it on my canvas bags and leather shoes. Its like an invisible coating that repels liquid or anything that touches your bag. You can visit havredeluxe’s instagram page to check what I’m referring to and maybe you can decide from there. Hope this helps.

Oh cool! ok thanks I'm going to look into it for my Chanel bags as well as others.

Yeah it soaks in but it didn't show a stain but I know it stained the pocket inside. The leather has turned dark in certain areas looking like dry/cracks but it doesn't look as if coffee spilled on it which is good lol. its not like a whole area but little spots. since its on the back it doesn't bother me that much but I know it has coffee soaked into the leather and I can smell it. if they don't respond I may reach out to the SA at the Chanel boutique I bought my flap from and ask for advice.

Hi everyone! I just received my 19 from the boutique and im wondering if I should exchange or return. Is it normal to have these types of creases/wrinkles on a brand new bag?

Just got my first 19, but I noticed some of the stitching alignment on the sides and bottom seem a bit off... do you think this is worth exchanging over?

The right side stitching on the front isn't lined up/continuous with the stitching on that side, but it is centered and looks even. However, the left side stitching seems a bit off, and then the bottom doesn't align quite right either. I know this is a soft and squishy bag so it might not be as perfect as on a classic flap, but do you think this is just a unique quirk for my bag or an actual manufacturing defect? Thanks!

I just took a look at my 19 and it looks the same, I honestly never even noticed it but I am guessing it might just be the norm for 19s?

Mine looks similar too. I also never noticed it, so it doesn't bother me.

I spilled an entire latte on my light blue 19 last year and the liquid just brushed right off. I didn’t spill it on the fabric lining though. I never use any type of leather protectant.
