You should go try on the different sizes if possible. The first time I ordered the 19 they sent me the maxi in error. It looked like I was carrying a a computer/messenger bag. Then I bought the middle size (M/L size?) and felt it was still too big. I sold that bag and just purchased the smallest size which I think is best size for me. I’m 5’1 and the maxi and m/l seemed too large for me. Good luck!

Same here, I’m 5’4 and 130lbs average size. I personally prefer the large size and the bag sit at bit higher near my hip but still I hope the chain could be bit shorter as I like high cross body look.(pictures reference for 19 large) The medium Size chain is just too long for me.

I just got the small/medium 19 from a boutique and I'm wondering if I should return it. It has a crease on the top and I'm on the fence about it being a deal breaker. I love the bag but... I dunno... Thoughts?
Sidenote: First time shopping at the NYC 5th Ave Chanel Store, I was also a little annoyed about how the SAs at this boutique kept saying how "lucky" I am to score this bag and how they are so surprised they even had one left in this size. It felt a little patronizing, not to mention that no one approached me or offered to help until I went up someone. It makes me want to return it more but i used a Chanel gift card to pay for a large chunk.

Hi there!! I’m hoping to join the 19 bandwagon soon. Just wondering which one to go for - preloved goatskin or brand new lambskin from boutique with the 5yr warranty? Pls correct me if I’m wrong about brand new bags having 5yr warranty now. I’m just looking to get the small size in black. Thanks!
Hi I was in the same situation as you please see my previous pictures showing the goatskin I received from Fashionphile (black small)and my new Lambskin small that I just bought. Fashionphile listed this bag as excellent like new condition. It was a year and a half old and without anything in it - it sunk iinto itself plus it was so wrinkled expecially on the sides and top of the flap in back. My new lambskin has more structure - stands on its own and no winkles. I never bought a chanel lambskin before (all caviar) but was getting tired of caviar. Really was in debate if I should keep the lambskin but when I received the goatskin That did make up my mind to keep the lambskin. The trouble with buying a Chanel 19 used is you really don’t see how bad the winkles are in pictures especially the black. Plus as i never saw a new goatskin it could be that the used ones were not stored correctly. You will get a 5 yr warranty now on a NEW bag. I bought my new for $5,100 before last increase - a used Chanel 19 in excellent condition Is anywhere from $5,800 to $6,500! I bought a base shaper and organizer for mine and will keep these inside my bag-looks great. If you are worried about scratches even goatskin scratches. LaLa Shaw just showed the scratch and small gouche on her goatskin in her video! It all depends on how you take care of it. Love the feel of my lambskin and just placed my reserve for the 21K Caramel!! I contacted my SA several months ago!

I believe that is 20P collection. Goatskin from 2020. I’ve definitely seen it lately.
