so interested in hearing the same - I just ordered beige lambskin from fashionphile and I’m a bit concerned about color transfer…
I have the dark beige 19 from 21S in lambskin, purchased in April of 2021, worn it about once a week since I got it and it's held up really well.
So far there are no issues with color transfer but I always take a piece of white felt and rub it on dark clothing to check if there's transfer before wearing a light colored bag. I also feel like I've nicked my bag a few times with my nails but there are no scratches!

i actually store it on its back with the shoulder chain tucked into the bag, and i make sure it's not laying on the top handle chain (i have a zoomoni organizer inside and it's also stuffed to keep its shape). i avoid storing on standing up as that can promote sagging over time.
I didn’t really like the Chanel 19 when it first released.. but after seeing everyone’s photos and on IG, this bag really grew on me. Here she is fresh from the boutique. My SA said this is the new version with the microchip, replacing the authentic card & serial sticker.

Do you have the shoulder chain at the bottom of the organizer then paper on top or is it stuffed first and you kind of lay shoulder strap on top of paper? Getting ready to move out of 19 for a little break and trying to figure this out. Lol
I have it stuffed with some paper first, then I put the shoulder chain in on top of the paper. It's worked well for me so far.
Hello Chanel 19 owners! Do you all use a base shaper AND and organizer? I have the small/medium size. Also do you use the bag in fall/winter when it can rain or snow?

I don't own one yet since I am still waiting for my SA to message me but once I got my hands on it, I will order and use the 2mm organizer from Samorga or Zoomoni and protect the leather with Havredeluxe's Water Repellent Protector.
Thank you! I was told not to spray or apply anything on the handbags as Chanel will not touch it if it needs repairs. Any thoughts on this?
I did order a base shaper but I am still considering if I should add an organizer or not.
It is really up to you. Due to the delicate leather, I just chose to protect it with the water repellant spray. I am just more afraid of damaging the leather while in use. For the organizer, since the one I'll be choosing is the 2mm one, it also serves as the base shaper already since it is thick. For my other Hermes and Chanel bags, I use the 1.2mm ones.

So I own the 19 in dark beige and the other day I spilled coffee on the back of the bag. It didn't leave any stains that I can see but the coffee went inside the back pocket. The bag smells like coffee but doesn't look like it left any stains besides inside the pocket. It also got on the chain on the top of the bag and it was hard to soak up the coffee in between the chain and bag. should I take it to a leather cleaner to get cleaned or just leave it alone?
Sorry to hear about this. Instances like this is the reason why I plan to apply water repellant spray protector on my bag. Hope you get yours sorted out. Can you bring it to Chanel instead? I'm not sure though if they will take it in for repair? I havent experienced bringing same issues to the boutique. Maybe our ladies here could help.
Thank you. I have also gotten olive oil on it before and water but it always dried normal but never applied any protectant because it never showed up as a stain but maybe I should have. The back has also gotten a bit dirty. I emailed the website to see if they could help out since the chat wasn't available and I'm waiting on a response.
