FYI, the Houston YSL store has the chocolate in what I *think* is the large and the chocolate ostrich too. So pretty!!! I happened to have the number right here as the S/A gave me her card... 713-840-7006. lol *enables*

Where do you live? If there is no YSL boutique in your state, no tax!

OMG! Thanks so much! I live in AZ...don't know if there's any boutiques?

AND YSL accepts returns (with credit back to your charge) within a specified number of days... One thing I love about YSL boutiques...

Yeah, I think its 10 to 14 days here, can't remember the exact #. I hate when you buy something and then find something wrong with it only to get told all you can get is store credit. Especially if there is just a defect with the bag you pick and there is nothing else you want:evil: Okay I'll stop ranting lol.

I don't think there is a YSL there, I was on vacation there last year and couldn't find a boutique to buy a st. tropez:cry: The NM in Scottsdale didn't have the selection of bags I thought they would too.

Yea, NM here doesn't have a great selection for some reason. So since there's no boutique here, no tax on my purchase?????

I just returned a medium chocolate brown to the YSL store in Bal Harbour. They should have it in a few days. BTW, the dimensions on Saks dot come is incorrect. I posted the dimension of the med and the large in another MUSE thread.

Ok thanks for the info. Bal Harbour is in NY then? Forgive me, not familiar with the location. TIA!

sorry, it is in FL. I originally called NY first.

Thanks for the info Savannah, sorry to bother you but do you find that the leather is easiy scratched or durable? Sometimes I find certain leather on bags scratches more easily than others. The last thing I want is to pay over $1k for a bag and then I'm left w/ a big ol' blemish staring right back at me!

no bother, love to talk about handbags, love to help.:D I just used my black MUSE for the first time today. It is bufflo leather, soft and durable, in my opinion, and pretty. I hate scratches on my bags too, that's why I hardly use my Chanel bags that are made from lambskin. They are grains on the leather, so I think that would hide some scratches also. Hope this helps, please feel free to ask questions if you have more.;)

eta, the shoulder strap on the med muse seems just a teeny bit shorter than the large muse, hard to wear over the shoulder in my opinion. i'm 5'3 and normal weight.

Ok, and the large doesn't seem to overwhelm you? By chance, are you able to post pics of you carrying/wearing it?
