^ Hmmm...I would say no way do all sizes have a 7" shoulder drop. I can wear the large on the shoulder, but there is no way the XL would go there unless you are very petite...

The measuresments on Saks are incorrect. I've called the YSL to confirm. I could barely get the straps over the shoulder in the medium, not sure about the oversize.

Well believe it or not, that's the thing I'm looking into also. We're going to start a family around May and I'm looking down the road. I don't want to spend so much $ only to find out having kids requires carry-on luggage. I would kick myself if I bought the med and needed the lrg instead.

Are you familiar with the Marc Jacobs Blake? The medium is pretty much the same, except the Muse is quite snug over the shoulder. Say if you get the medium (not wearing it over the shoulder) and had a diaper bag over the shoulder, and holding a baby's hand, you may be overwhelmed. I usually have 2 diapers, a little box of wipes, box of anti-bacterial wipes, keys, cosmetic bag, phone, wallet, 2 sippy cups, some sort of snacks in my large Muse, or whatever bag I am using at the moment. No way that's going to fit in the medium Muse. On second thought, maybe I should've gotten the oversize??? just kidding!

I know it's a big decision, glad to help. I think the choco is sold out in large at the moment, I would call the YSL store to be sure though.
