I’m so happy to still be here and making good progress that I can see. I’m thinking I won’t be paralyzed for long. It really helps to see progress, no matter how little it may seem. I feel great today. My husband really supports me and we are so good together. If I didn’t have him as my care giver, I don’t know where I would be. I love him and I’m grateful for hiscontinued love and support. He’s been by my side from day one when I woke up in the hospital not knowing what happened tomme. My entire left side not working but always had feeling in my limbs. I could feel itching and pain. And tickling of my left foot just couldn’t move anything. So since I’ve been back in therapy I’m making good progress and im working super hard to be able to beat the year anniversary of the stroke. Making ads much progress as I can as far as moving my left side…

Turns out hubby likes opening boxes as much as I do lol but he doesn’t order much…. handbag shopping (at the outlets) requires a lot of physical strength and
mobility. Consider your PT to be training for a shopping marathon.
My newest acquisition.. pebble grain Cooper hobo! I bought this second hand, and the seller listed the color as blue. The pictures on the site made the bag appear grey so I had my fingers crossed it might be steel blue. Lo and behold when she arrived she is not steel blue, but like a green teal color 🤣 Either way I love her and have wanted to try this style for a long time. Glad she is in my collection!

Pretty bag! I like the contrasting colors. For some reason, I have been seeing quite a bit of this shade turning up in fashion and accessories the last few months.

Sometimes deep teal and navy, jeans, marine blue are hard to tell apart in
interior lighting or in the dark. When you get into sunlight, if you have other
colors for comparison, the subtle differences can show. But stand alone, one bag
at a time, it's often hard to tell, even if we have the exact color name.
These shades are often very subtly different in either undertones or overtones...
like one drop of extra blue/green/grey/black in the bucket of color used for dying.
And the colors can change from leather to leather and year to year.
As long as you love the color, that's what counts. And in fashion today,
it's not about exact matches of color, but rather putting together tonal
combinations of color and texture. That's a good thing, there are so many
different shades of blue (especially) that matching is almost impossible.
And I tell myself that's the reason I had to accumulate so many different blue handbags
over the years.

Thanks! The color was a bit of a surprise. I thought worst case scenario it would be midnight blue. I was not expecting a greenish color at all, but it was a happy surprise! I normally gravitate toward blue bags too lol. I’m challenging myself a bit to be okay with not being 100% matchy matchy with my purse and clothes. It’s kind of invigorating in a way lol 😊
So I indulged in the Mother’s Day sale and got a micro Florentine satchel in the color natural. What do y’all think? It’s smooth all over and is a new bag from January 2025 batch but there is no authentication tag inside. Does have a registration card with serial number… I’m happy with this Goldilocks micro,not really micro great sized bag. Very happy sorry for the double post. Stroke was having technical difficulties…. Lol sorry back to you regular scheduled program….. oh idid get my silver gray Toscana domed satchel. It’s beautiful but too much for me at this time. The bag is huge and so luxurious with that cream leather on the inside. This bag is worth every penny… and matChing wallet…love it so much has 5 feet on the bottom.lovethe palladium hardware on this bag beautiful leather Toscana domed satchel. Enjoy your new Dooney. The dark greens and teals are very neutral colors.
In addition to coordinating well with many solid colors, including blues and greens,
you will also find that Dooney teal and dark greens match colors hidden in many
print clothing items. And remember, in today's style world, colors don't have to
be exact matches.... it's considered more interesting to mix tones/shades of
similar colors vs. the perfect color matches we strove for in the past. 😁
I've found this to be very liberating, and it allows me to enjoy more of my things
in more ways. Now I wonder why I needed 6 different shades of blue handbags
and 4 different pinks, etc.
