One Saturday every month my BFF, cousin and I would go to Dooney. We'd get there about 15 minutes before the outlet opened and park right by Dooney and Coach. After shopping we would have lunch at Mimi's Cafe in Naperville (also permanently closed). We made sure to go during holiday weekends to take advantage of the additional percentages off.Oh Rue, I’m devastated. I loved going to that store. Each time I wenti had it to myself as it was empty sigh. I hope they could open another store in Illinois. If they build it… we would come… at least I would go
I worked in Warrenville for a few years and sometimes I would run to Dooney on my lunch after I called them and found out they had something I wanted.
When I moved to Oakland Livermore was a reverse commute in the morning. (Traffic was heavy going the opposite way to San Francisco.) It would take an average of 25 minutes to drive there in the morning and I would stay just long enough to give traffic home a chance to let up a little.
Dooney was always my first stop in Livermore. It was our second stop in Aurora because the line to get inside Coach got long quickly. (And we especially didn't want to wait in winter!) We would be in the first group going in the store when it opened.
