When I'm searching for bags online the first thing I do is select the RED filter. 
I don't know if anyone here follows "Mo Knows Beauty" on YouTube. Recently she bought a suede Dooney and said she felt the lining had something that felt like paper inside. It was making a funny sound and she wasn't sure if it would bother her or not. This morning I was switching back to my suede bag and I felt what I think she was talking about. The lining of my PG satchel feels like paper. It makes a slight sound like paper. I compared it to the lining in my suede satchel and it's definitely different. The suede lining feels like cloth.
Has anyone else noticed a difference in the lining of their new bags? It's not a deal breaker for me, just another reminder Dooney is subtly cutting back on the quality of materials used.

I was wondering if anyone posted about it. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't heard about it or if I didn't have an older bag to compare it to.
It might be just some bags. It isn't in the Penrose 2 Messenger I got last month. That one has really nice soft woven lining.

seemed to be stiffer, and would make noise if you scrunched it. I got a few bags like that and
I don't like it. I think it was some kind of treatment used on the fabric lining (or maybe they
changed the fabric content or used a different supplier). I don't think
it was paper or there was paper under the lining. It felt like the lining was starched instead
of soft. Or maybe it was some kind of a treatment to make it easier to wipe out the inside
of the bag.

You make a good point about it possibly being a treatment of some sort. I know some people didn't like the red (vinyl? plastic?) lining in the coated cotton Olivia satchels even though it was easy to clean. Maybe they're trying a new approach.
I used the bag grocery shopping this morning and I didn't feel anything different until I emptied it to switch bags, so it's not a problem for me. It was worth mentioning because when Mo was describing it I couldn't understand what she meant. Now I know.

Ok so I’ve purchased the alto small Shana on holiday sale from ild eBay , the maritime domed satchel with matching wallet and cosmetics case., Florentine domed satchel and Florentine nano satchels in brown tmoro, Bordeaux, and black. Regular Florentine satchel in Bordeaux with. The ugly flat bottom. I think that’s all… it’s enough. I love the.florentine domed satchel so much.it in the color navy I love the shape of this Florentine domed satchelove the outside back pocket.

It’s amazing to find discontinued gems in nwt factory condition. The hunt was along time coming. AndI know I will love this item.i did plenty of YouTube research on it and I’m shocked I was able to get a good deal on this Florentine beauty. I’m still a Florentine snob. I don’t think it’s ever gonna change… one more time I’ve see,outs of co,plaint o. Quality issues as no authentication tags with serial numbers. Ugh I will still use my bags without those tags as I don’t plan on ever selling them. I might however gift them notlikely anytime soon. I remain positive an grateful to have made it into 2025 betterthaniwas. I am gett8ng stronger and regaining my balance. As soon as I’m able to lift my left leg I’m gone…….
