There used to be grails that every collector had to have. And I guess we did that (?). I feel like now, with so many newer collectors, that's not the case. People have personal grails, which seems like a more sane pursuit. Thoughts?
sometimes you don’t know it’s a personal grail ‘til it finds you: St. Malo, Grygkar-attributed, ca. 1947 per Fontan’s III. costuming looks right for a grail story bridging 14th-15th centuries.
Will look closer at colors (really bluer pinks; iPhone photos peachy) and registration in specific thread. just beautiful—and the cutest little unicorn in the lower left corner!

Yes I saw this on eBay For $1750. It is certainly beautiful! We all have our own limits on what we will pay for what constitutes a “grail”/must have for a collector or just ones personal grail. My personal grail is Parures de Samourais. I don’t have my favorite colorway yet but prices are too high for me to rationalize. My oldest is “La France” 1957 I think it is off my memory.

A grail I had been searching for quite awhile. Aloha mousseline 90.View attachment 4886209View attachment 4886210View attachment 4886211
