Wow! That's what unshelled almonds look like??? Super cool....(And a really nice color.....)

HH- Congrats on your new scarf and your upcoming 30th! :drinks: Like you, I have my own "set" of grailish scarves that mostly don't fit most people's idea of "grail". It's all good, not everyone wants or should want the same thing.

I think if there's Rouge H there, it is that darker red box area inside the bright red border.

Happy anniversary, HH :-) The scarf becomes you, as well! As for grails, I agree, mine are seldom seen as grails for others at tPF, and that's the beauty of it! We all build our collections, large or small, based on our individual tastes or interests. When people show and tell about their reasoning for buying a particular scarf, it makes it all so much more interesting - so much to learn and enjoy here. Thank you to everyone here for sharing your passions and beauties :-)

Off topic :blushing: Green almonds are young almonds, delicious and only available for a limited time in the year! If you can try them!:flowers:

My grails are very different to many on here in that they are not famous or widely sought after, on the whole. I am looking for those which have art and motifs from the Ancient World and I already have Les Secrets de Minos, Escales Mediterranéenes, Mare Nostrum and La Promenade de Platon. So this is my latest, a present from DH for our 30th wedding anniversary in April: Persepolis. This is not my usual colour choice, but I love the red and now need a suitable lipstick to go with it! Longer post on my blog.

By the way, I keep seeing the words Rouge H on here. Is this colour on the scarf, does anyone know? Anyway, this is my first tying attempt; it was getting rather gloomy so I didn’t have the time to do anything fancy.

Congrats on your scarf and anniversary. I think scarves are extra special when they have a sentimental or historical connection.

I should read more carefully; I missed the anniversary part.

Happy anniversary to you and Mr. HH! What a fabulous milestone. We’re coming up on our 20th in April.

Okay well, this is going to take some practice. The silk 140s are so slippery compared to a CSGM.

I deliberately chose the side I feared would be less flattering on me (quite warm) but it’s not bad I think! It’s a keeper. Thank goodness because I’m madly in love with it.

Wearing it today with an also new-to-me blue leather jacket.

Wear more red, it's fab on you !
I used to think I suited red tones only , but now divide my affections between all colours except
pink !

One more grail off the list: Zabavushka! :yahoo:Can't believe it will be mine.....! Now comes the wait for it to get here. Still have about 10 more on my list. I will keep the identity of those on the DL as prices are already insane--don't want to give resellers any more ideas.
Congrats!! I’m not sure I want to count how many I have left on my list....:giggle:

OMG....what a crazy week! I have bought four (4!) scarves this week. This is not at all like me. One was current season from a boutique while on a business trip this week. The second was one ordered online that I missed out on from last fall. It was one of those that I should have bought when I saw it...and didn't. Then today....I walked into a consignment shop.

There is a new owner who just took it over. She was explaining to one of the other SA's about how to find what each customer prefers in their sales database. I chuckled and gave her my list. Of course, I included H scarves. She said 'Oh, we just got 3 Hermes scarves in the back'. Of course, she pronounced it 'Hur-mees' :) So she comes out with 3 orange boxes and tells me that these are limited editions, all done by the same artist....yada yada. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. She opens the first box and it's La Femme aux Semelles du Vent in the brown CW. OMG!! At this point, I'm trying to just be cool. So, the second box is opened. It's La Vie du Grand Nord in the navy CW! Holy mackerel! The third box is La Vie du Fleuve in orange. So, the Vie du Fleuve wasn't in great condition. Someone had pressed the hems and they were flattened but the other 2 were in perfect condition. So....I ended up with 2 grails. Wow!

Major congrats! I'm seriously amused by some sellers: they describe every H scarf as a limited ed, which I suppose they are if you streeeetch the meaning...
