Actually the price is not too bad if it was the purple or the royal blue colorway. A bit stretch if it was the red. I guess many sellers think every colorway deserves a grail price, I don't agree with that.

How about this grail P de Samourai? Yes it's a grail for some, but really? I should have stocked up lol...

Ambitious Samourais BIN but maybe encouraged by high price same cw achieved recently:

People have mixed reviews of The RealReal, and a plisse won't answer the mail for many grail hunters, but here's a cream Pegase d'Hermes offered well under retail, if that's a grail of yours:

PocketbookPup pointed out that a busy design like ELeK can be deplissed with success. I don't think I'd try that with this design myself, but YMMV.

Mixed reviews - I totally agree; a couple of La-Femmes were listed but now sold.

Strange, I always think the red is the most desirable and seems to get the high prices.
Maybe because it's hands down the most gorgeous IRL IMO!

I'm feeling distanced from my H scarves and shawls recently ,I think my eye is finding other aesthetics to distract me away , at least for now.
Being distanced like this has made me wonder about these grails , I still remember the thrill etc but can't imagine why I wanted those specific things now!

Having said that, I should find it difficult to offload them yet.:amazed:

I hear you. I go in phases myself, and while I haven't orbited away from my scarves yet, past experience tells me it is wise to proceed slowly. It's about the pleasure of the journey, always! At this point I have only one I would call a grail, and a few would-be-nice-to-have-if-the-price-is-rights. I don't delete things from my wish list but instead cross them out, as a way of tracking my evolving taste. There are a lot that I'm quite glad I didn't find at the time.

And why is it so hard to offload an old grail, I wonder? I looked long and hard for my blue jean De la Mer au Ciel: so beautiful, such wearable colors . . . and I cannot buy a compliment on it, no matter what I do. It forever spurns my suit: I will always be Mr. Collins to its Elizabeth Bennet. And yet I can't let it go.

I have not offloaded anything in my collection yet - even those I know don't really work well enough to illicit any comment, be it positive or negative. I only have a couple of those but each one is still special to me and I think it would be hard to let them go. Either that or I have a tendency to hoard. [emoji15]

And my sympathies to lost grails! I sometimes look at past sales of scarves I consider grails and think, "Oh, would that that buyer had been me!" And I hope whoever bought it enjoys it as much as I would have. [emoji5]

I once saw the fuchsia cw of Pegase for $250. I had contacted the seller about it with a question and was about to buy it when it sold to someone else. D'oh! Hugs to @Belphoebe and @ksuromax. I feel your pain, scarf sister!

I am a little less frenzied in my scarf buying these days, too. (My god, I think it's been at least two months now! I think I deserve a 2 months sober chip!) I'm a bit more picky now that my own collection offers more than a few options to choose from.

(But I still go on the hunt every single day... [emoji23]The sickness is real!)
