What's really funny is that some designs get famous by association. I had a thing for Kimonos et Inros years ago and was able to buy them cheaply [ passed them on now as the design looked awful on me] .
But now because it has the Kimonos handle it's fortune has risen tenfold :laugh:

That bird ( in the color way I'm seeking) is absolutely nowhere in sight and it's making me sad....!😰

The jacquard is so lovely and this is my first. It felt slightly lighter than my other 90s though so I weighed it and it came in at 59grams instead of the usual 63-65. Anyone else notice this about jacquards? Maybe because this one has so much less color printing on it that my others?

Agree with Croisette. That seller is crazy. The black and white goes for a pretty penny but not even that goes that high. The other colors can be had for the 450-550 range. I think some inexperienced sellers use the search function for what has sold don't realize that some designs come in different sizes and formats. There was something crazy that I saw recently and I think it was the same issue. I can't remember which design it was though.

The neutral colorway is the scarf that cured my addiction. Ever since I bought it I have felt full on scarves. It's just so beautiful that I compare everything else to it and most things can't compete.

No please don't be sorry! Just being cheeky. I will still be pursuing the neutral CW, but I can promise I won't be paying $1200!! Lol

I think the theory is probably correct in that the seller must have somehow thought they were pricing it right, not realizing they have a silk and not a GSCM or moussie?? Or they're just a little bit crazy [emoji15] Maybe they will find an equally crazy buyer, like the recent Turandot that went for $1000.
