I have that cw of the 140 cm Marcellina you posted in a 90 cm silk twill. I love it for the colours that really pop on black outfits. I only have 3 x 140 cm silks (2 x Tapis Persans and black Equateur) & bought these strictly for the designs. I find that the 140 cm is a bit too much volume of lightweight silk for me to deal with (no problem with CSGMs) & wouldn't buy any more large silks. If you love this scarf and don't already own this cw of the Marcellinas you have, you might want to track down a used 90 carre instead.

I have a friend who tells me how lovely these summer scarves are, but I'm with you. If there is trouble ahead, there is trouble... And, it will find my finer things in my closet.

Dear Balto Bag Lady,
I have become a fan of yours in the past hour, just reading through this thread! I, too, manage to get stains upon my scarves and my clothes with frightening ease! I just bought one of my grails - Coupons Indiens - with a sigh of relief, for only $217. Because it comes prestained. I don't have to worry about being the guilty party!

I tuck my cloth napkins into my collar when eating out, in an attempt to prevent stains. I even carry my own linen napkin in my purse, in case we eat somewhere with only those flimsy paper napkins!

I am an old and sick lady - laundry list of diseases and conditions - and sneaking up on 68. Can we be tpf pals?

Coupons Indiens was one of my first scarf purchases. I loved the pattern and the colorway. It is blue jean and brown. It's very late, and I can't be held responsible for anything I write after 2 A.M. I will check in later.
