My first grail Fleurs d'Indiennes. The magenta contrast hem against the turquoise still thrills me even after all these years of wearing it. Just a note...my dress form is linen, I don't have a furry neck :graucho:!

Sigh, love this. :hbeat: If I could find this cw at a reasonable price, Fleurs d'Indienne would become the second design I'd have in multiple cws. Beautiful NestGirl.

One grail down, sort of. It's not a Vert Paperoles CSGM, but a 90. Love the lime/capuchine colors.

Never seen that CW before. Please post an action shot.

Just received this from a very lovely seller!
ExLibris en Kimonos. I absolutely adore this colorway!!
Special thanks to Pirula for enabling me
Apologies for the side ways photo!!!

That is such a beautiful design. Welcome to the club

You crack me up. IMHO this is the best CW of Fleurs. Congrats. Wear it in good health.

[emoji7] beautiful! Is the last photo a Chou Chou knot? Looks great.

For anyone who is interested there is a turandot on eBay right now for a good price from a good seller.

https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/291772713523

That is so beautiful, I adore the grey with the apricot and green , but it would make me look like I'd spent the night with Dracula .[and I'm not talking about the canines]
I love Turandot for the divine balance of the design ,and it's still a bit edgy. Although music is important to me I steer clear of music based designs…but this one always slays me.

Congratulations! You owe me some action shots ;). And congratulations to the price.

I like Pytheas as well, I was lucky to score the olive/yellow (CW1?) in Berlin, long after it was supposedly sold out.
Thank you for the link, but that CW just is not mine. I just have to be patient, trust in the scarf fairy and check ebay furiously...

I just saw your message, strangely I haven't received the notification.

You're so lucky to own the Pytheas in CW1. I love it!
Personally, I own 2 CW of Pytheas since only 3 months : the one with orange border (CW29) and the one with yellow border (CW4). My SA found me 2 of the 3 CW that I liked (the third one is yours but it was sold out) and I'm happy because it was the last scarves in these CW in Switzerland! I was unable to choose so I left with both scarves...

I also like the Pegase but don't find any CW that really attracts me.

Ok, I will take some pictures when I get a little time.;)

Congrats, sweet friend!! Isn't this the prettiest design??? I have two in very different colorways. A bright one (colorway 01 in fuchsia, turquoise, yellow.. and a more subdued one in black/blue/orange/teal/lavender.. in colorway 04). My biggest regret is not buying the shawl when I had the chance. I literally bought my Birkin one week before the shawl hit our store, so I couldn't pull the trigger....ARG! Big mistake. Hopefully, it will be reissued in this format...:smile1:

Enjoy your GORGEOUS scarf! Can't wait to see you model it!

I love them all! Congratulations, ladies and gentlemen.
I've been confined to bed with some creeping crud that crept up on Mr. beeble and then got me. So, I have been studying one my Marcelinas hanging on the door de-wrinkling. I realized that no two squares are alike; that no stripe is not continued somewhere on the piece. I am thinking about a 140 silk, which I have never had.
Tell me, please, is a 140 summer-weight Marcelina future grail worthy? Remember, I am a sick old lady, and you should probably take that into consideration.👵

So vibrant and so delicious..love these colors and the combination with the CDC!

Thank you dear Hermezzy!

Balto I have the 140 Marcelina below and I have a love/hate relationship with it.

I love the bright colors but the summer weight silk wrinkles really easy and the wrinkles are persistent (when it is folded and back in the box, the wrinkles don't magically disappear like they do for silk twills). Plus I am not a fan of the hand of summer weight silk, it doesn't have the crisp feel like twills or the soft drape of mousseline.

And finally, the very first time I wore this scarf was during winter and a huge gust of wind caused it to blow against my car, picking up all the road crud. And to add insult to injury, immediately after I then somehow went and got Thai food on it and the stains have never come out from either the road crud or the food. I know I should get over it, but each time I reach for it I put it back thinking of wearing it that first time and realizing it became a $900 napkin. :p

If you are okay with the weight and hand of summer silk, go for it. And please feel better soon!

Oh thank you! SO many posts here end up costing me money, LOL. Finally a format I can cross off my list. :lolots::lolots::lolots:

WOW! This is gorgeous! My goodness, is there a single bad cw in this design? Don't think so. This suits you beautifully HoneyLocks!

And woooooowww, check this out. This was once my holiest of grails but it took so darned long that I lost interest and found something else in similar colors. Here is proof positive that I am "over it." Golly it's beautiful though and I thought someone else here wanted it as well so here you go! Just up on Ann's!:

Sold!!!
I already have this one but took a peek just in case ( don't some of these cool halter tops require two scarves?)...gone!
Hope it went to a lovely TPF friend 😊

momasaurus, thanks. There is no scarf, precious or everyday, that I have not managed to maim, spot, use for a bib, or a napkin. I have a friend who tells me how lovely these summer scarves are, but I'm with you. If there is trouble ahead, there is trouble... And, it will find my finer things in my closet.
beeble.
