I agree. Sometimes it's nice to see H take on darker themes. I never liked the dead animals designs, but I enjoy clever ones and this one shows a good sense of humor as well.

I can't seal with most hunting scenes or dead animals, and there are plenty of those designs, it even put me off Savanna 70 this season, which I suppose is silly because the monkey never gets caught

Someone has actually bid on the overpriced C'est La Fete on evilbay. People! Wise up!

I think the design is coming back for AW16(?) in another format. Let's hope that knocks the wind out of these resellers.

I'm looking for bright, colourful plisses ATM (of course I was totally disinterested when they were available)

Does anybody know if the pleats deplete (de-pleat ) after a time and whether or not H still will re-plisse if they do become looser or will even plisse a flat 90 like they used to?

Papertiger, I happen to be a CLF lover (this scarf was what started my H obsession[emoji15])! May I ask how you know this might be coming next season?? I've been hoping they would reissue this in other formats!! If this is true, then I need to do more than water my money tree, but get to fertilizing that puppy!! Lol [emoji16]

I'm looking for bright, colourful plisses ATM (of course I was totally disinterested when they were available)

Does anybody know if the pleats deplete (de-pleat ) after a time and whether or not H still will re-plisse if they do become looser or will even plisse a flat 90 like they used to?

The pleats do "de=pleat" after many, many wearings. It doesn't bother me, because the colors remain vivid. I believe H used to replisse. You might ask if they still do.

I am close to pulling the trigger (suffered from a particular hard 26-hour-shift last sunday, the Fall 16 preview does nothing to me...), but the price really hurts. Is it worth it????

I have this one. It's really fun for summer. Looks great with navy year round. Tango tosca also has it on her thread. I paid the most for this scarf of any 90 I own. Slightly more than the one you are considering. These aren't great photos but it's everything that I could find quickly on my phone.

Mine are shades of grey and the other shades of blue and grey. If you think of the design as a sophisticated stripe it might fall into place.

We are all about design and recognize the beautiful stripes in the scarf. The colorways are just beautiful and I actually can wear them. I wear all colors, as long as it is black and denim. I don't wear color except with my scarves. I'm old and don't wear color on my face anymore. I look better (and less fat) in black and use scarves or jewelry to make my clothes look more alive. Hey, I just bought a white blouse. Things may be looking up, LOL! My scarves do look lovely with that, except, I'm afraid to get the white shirt dirty. Did I say I was old? Pretty soon my poodles will have to take better care of me!!

I thought that scarf was waterproof. My SA told me that, but Pete, from Luxury Scarves said, only certain colorways, and the protection could be washed off, and well, now. The one I love is Faubourg Express. At least that is the name I think it is. But, merely looking at these beauties, makes my astigmatism worse.

Have we had the poodle discussion once? My two la Coco (avatar) and Eli, little brother. Both standards.

So I went to bed, then to work. After work, your pics in mind, I went to ebay in order to do something very stupid . But it was already sold. I am half sad half glad about it: After all, it is a lot of money for "a piece of silk". Who am I kidding, I already regret not being the one who bought it...

So, here is my consolation: Printemps de Thera. A scarf that was on my wishlist for a long time, since I have a connection to Minoan culture and already having spent a vacation at Santorini (also called Thera). HermesHope might like this one!

But I was skeptic about the CW, yellow face with red eye... When it came as an auction I won it at a rather good price (about half retail). Now I am happy to have it. Freshly washed and ironed (found some undisclosed faint stains doing so). And see how well the yellow matches my Wolfskin back bag? I should crosspost these to the "How to casually wear a carre"-thread .
