Agree, not bad considering the age. And some H cashmere shows more fuzziness than others is a well known fact, depends on the production batch. I remember this shawl used to be sold for around 3K. It's a true grail.

Hi everyone. I received a small Grail today, literally. I have been looking for a good color of amoureaux de Paris for some time. I thought maybe the neutral gavroche but then I stumbled upon this. As DH says I love reading dusty old novels. I have probably read all of the stories portrayed and I have seen the ballets of several. So it has special sentimental value.

Oh, that is such a pretty cw; I love it! "Les Amoureux de Paris" is a grail of mine, too, and I finally have one on the way in a cream/bright pink/purple cw, also the gavroche size.

My grail scarf is the Brazil Bandhini. I love blue, I love all of the H indigo line, and I love the feel of dip-dyes. The 140 cm size makes it so great to wrap. I just can't bring myself to pay the price ($1825). I understand how much work goes into it, I even understand the exceptional scarves, but it's just, in my brain, way above my acceptable price for a scarf :hrmm:. And I missed one at resale at a GREAT price last week by just a hair :crybaby:
I can still enjoy its beauty from afar, though :D

I love this one too, I might defer any 90s this season to get it.
