I agree about the small details but I would love to see a huge horse and rider in a cashmere! I would also love to see it in a 90 in silk because I find the 70 a bit small on me, but maybe that's just because I'm not as proficient at knotting as most of you are. I'm still learning.

Just checked out the listing..no international shipping :cry:
This one is more taupe than Mai Tai's...
I suppose this makes this one a true grail for me...must keep searching:smile1:
It was released in 2003. I suppose it is never on the resale market because it is so beautiful that nobody wants to let it go.....

Oh no! Don't give up. I've definitely seen the Mai Tai version before online - about 2 or 3 years ago. The wait will make it worthwhile.

My grail scarf is probably my 90cm Beverly Hills a Hermes. I didn't think I'd ever get to own one but while at BH this summer I saw it in the case and had to have it! Sad I didn't get a matching Twilly set either as I'd love to have them as well just in case I ever get a B or K to match them but for the time being, it's definitely tied for favorite in my collection!

I have Maitai's. I had it before she ever got hers and it's from the 90s, not 2003.

I agree that the one on ebay is not the same. That has a more graphite gray border and brown dirt while MaiTai has green grass. The good news is that resellers follow this thread and will probably put up one soon at a markup, lol.

Really , for us over here buying from USA is insane as customs always check incoming mail from there .

I have no doubt that some resellers are using the forum in that way. Whenever a certain scarf , especially an older design, is applauded on a scarf thread, as surely as night follows day certain resellers trot it out at an outrageous price.
They are parasites , but symbiotic ones ….how else would we acquire our grails :wondering

I'll let you know if I see one here .Why not ask your H to do a search , they often turn up things from past seasons .
Do you have the number of the c'way , just remind me ?

The grail I was expecting on Saturday never arrived. Hopefully today. I have one other in the works and don't want to jinx it. In the meantime, here are my two remaining grails. The first is fleurs d'indiennes in Mai tai's colors. So summery and bright. The second is printemps ete 69 automne hiver 70 in taupe and blue. What can I say? I am a child of the 70s. I love the outfits on the women, the H border and the color combination.
