I agree, maybe if it was smaller C's it would be different. I love that bag in black sig though, its more subtle

Do you think the hamptons totes might be good for light weight school days in spring, kallison? There are some color on those? Have you also considered a sig gallery tote, even with white trim on beige if you tied a scarf to it and put on a keychain that would add some color for spring! :hysteric:Hope that helps

i wanted the subtlety too...but it was that or the color i wanted. couldnt get both.

tried the gallery tote- wasn't tall enough and wasnt comfy on the shoulder.

trust me, i tried it all!!!

lol, well I'm glad it ended up working for you. The carly is an adorable shape/size bag.

I tried on the sig gallery tote yesterday and I thought it was pretty comfy, but 2 strap bags always flip flop off your shoulder. I still MUST have my gallery tote in patent, but now I'm already starting to want another bag. I thoght getting on this forum would just help me get info on the patent and then I would be satisfied forever with my bag and a few accessories to match. I see where the addiction factor comes from... :graucho:uh oh

i bought the carly in the smaller size...didn't love it...then i went back and got the larger size (i'm 5'3) and i LOVE it...i get a ton of compliments on it becuase of the hardware...it was between the large "C" and the leather...i didn't like the way the large "Cs" looked...i prefer the smaller sig "c's"...i love the bag a lot..hope this helped...

This is my 3 year old kate spade messenger bag. I got it when it was still $140. Now they go for $190. There are 2 sizes. I have the smaller one, which will fit a small laptop and perhaps 3 spiral bound notebooks, a wallet, coin purse. Very functional. I also have a larger one (too big).

As for comfort level... Anything you wear on only one shoulder will not be comfortable after a while. But if just half day, I think it might be fine.

I'm not a rich girl, but I sure like people thinking that I am because of all of my Coach bags! *L*

And girl let me tell you, I'm not a small girl either, that's why I don't carry small bags. I look so much bigger by comparison. My boyfriend makes fun of me because of my "suitcases", but I don't care. If they make me look any smaller at all, then I'm all about it. *L*

anything to let me hide a little bit is great to me! as much as i love my legacy shoulder bag, i always feel just so much bigger with that bag- and it's sort of depressing...

I'm going to dismiss my normal need to ask you where you got the money for all these bags and pump your head up a little bit. You look adorable with all of them. I like the black one the best.

I really want something in black signature because I don't have any and it's the next thing on my list. If the Carly makes it to the outlets I'd definitely scoop it up.
