Thanks kallison. How comfortable are they on the neck and back to carry? I always have my laptop and couple of books, so it can get slightly heavy. Do you wear it across the body?

Even though I hate the look of wearing a Jansport backpack, it is at least ergonomically friendly. LOL But, I REALLY want something cute that is functional.

Congrats!! If you don't love it return it...$400 is alot to spend on a bag your not completely in love with. It is a huge bag..maybe you should have got the medium & the signature wouldn't have stand out as much.:shrugs: I personally in the carly like the black (leather & signature).

^i do, too...i didn't really want a khaki sig, i wanted that blue. and i wanted the large for school stuff.

i definately won't be getting a different carly. i don't like the leather colors, nor do i want another black bag...soo...

guess it's not meant to be. everything i want just blows up in my face...

it's comfy- fits a TON of crap in it.

i can only wear it with certain stuff (i'm not exactly small and my chest gets in the way when i wear a messenger, lol).

LOL LOL...totally can relate on chest getting in the way!

Glad to know it's comfy and fits a ton-o-crap. I always have a ton-o-crap in my backpack. ;-)

And sorry, your new Carly isn't working out. I read your Mia thread and can't wait to see pics of it. :-)

haha. i have a ton o crap in my bags too...never use it, but as soon as i take it out, i'll need it!

alright guys...used it today and i was actually pretty surprised how much i like it.

i only needed to carry my carly to class- fit ALL my stuff i needed, wasn't heavy or bulky.

i got lots of compliments on it...and on my campus, unless your bag is logofied, it's seen as crap. and as stupid as it sounds, i want peoples "approval". (cant help it, sorry).

And don't feel bad, I think a lot of people buy recognizable designer bags just for that reason, they like people knowing what it is. I know I sure feel loads cooler carrying my Coaches around. *L* And I certainly notice designer bags when I'm out and about.

yeah, decided to keep it. it's really practical- and the whole point was so that i could stop carrying around a school bag AND a purse. (though i'm sure that will change once my mia comes!)

as STUPID as it sounds, i like knowing that people are sometimes thinking "damn, she's got a lot of coach!"..

and i like the way it's proportionate...it can go either way (for school or otherwise)...and it doesn't make me look like i'm the big girl carrying the small bag...

oh, for the rest of you: we have a girl in our research methods class who has this god awful (fake) optic satchel. totally gross. and she is, apparently, telling people she got it at the boutique! so we can't help but laugh at her...
