Girl, I love Carly, I really do *I have two of them* but if you're going to spend $400 on a bag and it comes down to which is more "tolerable" then you need to not spend the money. Just wait. I agree with saving the money. Carry whatever it is you've been carrying your school stuff in, and just wait until the right one comes along. That's way too much money to not love something. Hell, you don't even "like" it. That's not right.

ill say it again, the khaki/blue looked SOOOO good on you, it really brought out so many good features in you (not even my carly does that!!!) so really reconsider adding that dash of color into your life. the carly is a GREAT school bag. i too tried the signature stripe tote but it wasnt big enough, and i stuffed my carly today and was truly surprised that it fits soo much in it.

I`m talking about a new model they have at the Macys in Lenox, it has a front pocket and looks more tote-ish. The older ones are fine and they can hold a ton of stuff. It`s just something about the new one that i`m not feeling.
Well, it sounds like you don't love it, but because of your pics I needed the large carly in the signature with saddle trim. I got it and love it. I was leery at first of the huge C's, but really like the styling, weight and size of the bag. Does anyone else have problems with it staying on your shoulder though? i'm tempted to cut the shoulder patch off???
