***WTF am I sposed to do?***

Annanas: I'm so desperate it might work.

AnneMerric: She loves those stupid things believe me she would have known plus she would have taken to have it fixed cuz her other coat was immediately fixed after it got a lil lipstick on it.

I might just take the fall for this one
I started this tread cuz I was just wondering if anyone knew how to do a quick fix on something like this. Maby sewing?

^^^^ No...don't sew it yourself...DON"T DO IT!!!! You are going to have to tell her what happened...but take the coat to be fixed first! Sonya was right..she will be leass mad if she never sees the hole! And also..if it is already being mended....you can play down the severity!! I am afraid for this one...you might have to pay your dues!

You know what if you take it back to that shop, they should be able to take out the entire panel, and replace it with a new one it may be expensive but it will be new and you mum shouldn't notice unless she knows the skin pattern to the tee. its getting it done on time, I'm sure if you explained to the store owner that your want it confidential they will respect that, as you are a potential customer (if not a very close relative of a good customer) and wouldn't want to ruin that relationship.

first of all........poor kitty had to lose his beautiful hair to make that coat.

Now on to the question. I am a mom and I do own expensive items, I would want my child to tell me first. I personally wouldn't go try and get it fixed then tell her. What if they don't do a good enough job? I would take it to the place she bought it, ask if they could fix it and how much it would cost. Then go home and cry like a baby to your mom and tell her the info you found out and that you will 100% pay for it. Then she can do with it what she wants.

And shame on your for having a party in your house when you're parent weren't home. I know teens are irresponsible and like to have fun but it shouldn't be at the expense of your parents.

Oh and it could have been worse, you could have had a party like this:

Tell your mother, and get it fixed,or go to another local fur place, and get if fixed without her finding out. Im sorry that her jacket got trashed. Thats thing about having house partys..especially with the jack daniels ;]

The right thing to do would be to fess up and offer to fix it at the same time. However, if you decide not to go this route, I would lie my ass off and act like I didn't know a thing. And whatever you do, do not try to sew it yourself.

I guess it all depends on what your mom is like though by your initial reaction of hiding it in the car I guess she's not the laid back type LOL I would go have it fixed by a fur specialist. OTHERWISE the only quick fix is to pretend it didn't happen! Good luck!1

Tell her what happened. She'll probably be disappointed but if it was MY coat I'd rather be the one in charge of how it's going to be mended. Imagine what would happen if you took it to get mended and she did not approve of the job they'd done; you need to make the best of a bad situation.

Say how sorry you are and that you won't ever let anything like this happen again.

Yes!
If that happened to my coat I would want to be present with whomever is going to fix it. Your dear mom deserves a say in the matter. Just tell her ASAP to get the repair done soon.
