Wristwatches - what do you wear?

I've been wearing a rolex for a lot of years too and getting tired of it.

I'm having a similar feeling about my rolex....how/where did you sell yours? I thought about the rolex forum but I'm having trouble logging on there to look for a local person who buys/sells
Your watch looks great - and very easy to read
Thank you!

I sold it on Chrono24. I didn't get anywhere near what I paid for it, unfortunately, but I thought it was a fair price. I am also a member on the rolexforums, and I know a lot of people sell their watches on there. It's really reputable, too.

I didn't know about chrono 24...maybe I'll try again to get on rolex forum. I used to go on it but when I tried recently my password didn't work.
According to what I saw online my watch could possibly sell for what I paid for it. But what you see people selling it for and what you can actually get can be different.
Mine is a mens but smaller than yours. I'm kinda tired of wearing that heavy watch every day. Lately I've been wearing my movado ladies watch and I bought this inexpensive solar watch just for a change.

Is it ok to ask questions in this thread?
Are there any digital luxury or dress watch options for a small woman’s wrist?

I love jewelry and watches but I am also a daily runner and need a digital watch option that looks nice with my gold and diamond jewelry. I already have a few smart watches from Apple Watch and Garmin, but I am a low-tech person and I want a watch without a computer. I drive to a park after work to run, so I prefer to wear one watch from work to exercise so that I don’t have to leave the nice watch in my car at the park. Thanks!

Photos of some of my current watches to stay on topic. My current digital watches are so cute, but I need something that can hold its own with my jewelry better, made with real gold or stainless at the least!
Michele offers there standard 7 link bracelet for an apple watch.

Thank you! I actually don’t like Apple Watches, my sleeve always stops or resets the timer while I am running, even when I put it in “swimming” mode so that nothing can press it (this is what the Genius Bar told me to do). I gave up on Apple Watches after my 3rd, so I just need a simple and basic digital watch with a timer.

That is a great idea though, I can look for a basic digital watch face that has the ability to replace the band with a metal band!

If anyone knows of one or sees one, let me know! I typically wear a little Casio running watch for exercise that comes with a metal band, but the band is so long for my wrist that it keeps coming untucked.

Otherwise, if anyone sees a child’s running watch with a metal band, that would work also, but I have not found one (my wrist is about 13.5cm).

Here is a photo of that little Casio running watch to stay on topic. It is a cute running watch, but you can see how the band is loose and flapping in the breeze!

Casio really seems to be the current premier maker of digital watches. I have a Baby G for running and then wear my Longines otherwise. For something dressier in a digital, maybe you can find a nice vintage Seiko or Timex? There are also the Hamilton PSR digital, Bulova Computron, Tissot PRX, and Rado made some sleek digitals in the past.

Which longines do you have?

Thank you for the great suggestions! I will start searching.

I wear a Tiffany in stainless with just a bit of gold down the center of the band. They don't make it anymore (it's from the 90s). It's called the Tesoro watch. I've had it forever and I just love it. It's always on my wrist. People today tell time by checking their phones and I get that, but my Tesoro is a real treasure.

For going out, I have a Bulgari Serpenti in stainless. I love how it curls round my arm!

I noticed that as well, but I prefer checking the time from my watch. I find it inconvenient to check the time from my iPhone because I mainly keep it in my purse when I'm not at work or at home. I'm just old fashioned I guess, I prefer to wear a watch.

I prefer checking my watch too....plus I'm just used to wearing a watch. but my salmon dial rolex is so hard to read I sometimes take my phone out to look at the time
I have a silver dial movado with no markers that is as easy to read as that rolex
