Wristwatches - what do you wear?

Are you able to war titanium? It’s supposed to be hypoallergenic although not many made for women’s watches. Most importantly, don’t stress buy right now. Focus on feeling better and then take the time to find a beautiful replacement. Keep us posted!
No-even gold I sometimes react to -I used to have a mechanical platinum Blancpain but I kept overwinding it and sold it-they’ve discontinued the automatic version(and the mechanical one-I had no.4) and I can’t even find another platinum watch…

I wear my Apple Watch on the daily! That was my upgrade in 2017 from a Fitbit Charge HR and I love it. It's a real timesaver for me. I screen emails before diving into my phone to answer and thus avoiding getting distracted by other fun things in there.

In 2010 I treated myself to a new wristwatch when I transferred colleges and upon discovering the Marc Jacobs Molly watch looked sad in person I fell head over heels with the D&G Medicine Man watch. BIG rectangular face, designed like a television test pattern... absolutely more *me* before I knew of its existence. It's so very special to me, a real turning point in my life.

When my grandpa passed away in 2022 he had already given my mom a Must de Cartier Tank quartz watch he had bought to replace one lost in an early/mid 90s burglary. I really love the face, my mom loved it too because it was a great size for her.

While we were cleaning his house out I was determined to hunt every nook and cranny. I found an automatic Omega Seamaster circa 1970something in a ziplock bag of cheap watches, engraved on the back I noted it was a 10 year gift from his employer! Yes, back when you got those sort of things instead of a layoff notice! It's a gorgeous thing, I had the disintegrating band replaced and now I'm making myself wear it more so the band breaks in. Keeps great time.

I'll always love wearing a watch, even if I'm a bit of a nut and wearing both my Apple Watch and something lovely from my collection. I love being able to check the time without digging out my phone.

My Medicine Man is packed away somewhere right now... I know it I start looking for it I will tear the house apart board by board but I actually have two--one fell out of my purse post interview and it fell facedown in my car tumbling out of my Neverfull (had a black replacement strap) and when I tore *that* apart I must have missed it, thinking it was something structural. My mom surprised me with a replacement so naturally I found my first not long after that

both D&G and Cartier need another battery and I haven't yet set the Seamaster date/time as I've just put myself to wearing it but here's to shopping my own collection!

At the moment I’m left with 3 watches-although I still need a bracelet watch..

Graff 18ct white gold Tank with deployment buckle

Ari D Norman sterling silver Tank with black diamonds-currently being serviced and having a new navy alligator strap put on it after I washed it in the washing machine

Sovereign 9ct white gold round watch

Wow, thank you for sharing your stories! How amazing to have that information and those pieces. So special!! Enjoy!

I only have one piece from my grandfather, but according to my father, it was his most prized possession. We have no idea when it's from, how he got it. It doesn't work, and my father is too nervous to fix it lol. So it lives on as a jewelry piece  Thanks for letting me share!

A few recent additions to our shared watch collection! A Piaget 18k stepped case and champagne dial with a vintage Hermes crocodile strap, a Girard-Perregaux with a beautiful salmon dial, a Bvlgari Rettangolo in 18k with a vintage Cartier strap, and my husband finally acquired a perfect match to my beloved Omega 176.007 Seamaster! I swapped out his original metal band for an Hermes strap for him (I believe it's barenia? I could be wrong!)

The D&G watch is so joyful!

Do you have any photos of the platinum Blancpain? I love platinum … and Blancpain😂

I'm wearing these because I'm indecisive and couldn't decide which one to keep. I've asked this question on a watch forum where I think I got answers mainly from men who mostly never heard of Michele.
Seeking for votes from the ladies here please help me decide. Thank you!!

For reference I wear both silver and gold jewelry all the time and sometimes I mix them.

Not sure if I missed your decision, but which did you choose? I am loving the 2-tone Seiko so much that I may get one. I'm a sucker for a sunburst and also for 2-tone. I really want a cartier, but their prices are ridiculous. I could literally take my family on a vacation for the price of the 2-tone panthere that I want. Seiko is MUCH more reasonably priced!
