would you buy a made for outlet bag?

I have bought a few MFF bags. As far as reselling (not for profit, but if I tire of the bag), I have made out surprisingly well. the reason for this is because I think ebay buyers are more familiar with the names of outlet bags than the full price . But I have found MFF bags to be rather expensive lately...well....considering they are MFF. I won't pay over $200 for one

I returned the Mickie bag I just got. When I started really looking at it there were a TON of manufacturing errors with it. There was a spot on the front where the leather was peeling. There was glue every where, I cleaned it off a few spots, but you could see it oozing from nooks and crannies. The sealant on the edging of the strap didn't take in a number of spots. There were also a lot of loose threads. Even though I loved the style, I wasn't confident it would hold up for very long.

That is too bad. I admit to not looking very closely at them since i haven't been a fan of the styling but i still don't like hearing of poorer quality.

That's too bad. I looked mine over carefully and found nothing of what you describe. Maybe you just got a dud? :(

Heck yeah!!! If I liked the bag and the quality was there, I wouldn't hesitate. That being said, I have seen some not so great quality MFF bags and that is the deal breaker for me. On the other hand, I have liked some of the MFF bags better than FP bags. If you love something, go for it.

I have no problem buying a MFF bag, provided the quality is up to standards. There have been times I have looked at bags in the outlet and been shocked that Coach would allow their name on such shoddy workmanship, and then there have been the true gems.

I buy my handbags for me. I don't think I would ever consider selling any as I love every one I own. And I don't consider myself "too good" to buy an outlet bag, so if the quality is there, and the style really grabs me, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

Nope. Whenever I'm in the outlet I always look for the boutique deletes. I'm not a fan of the outlet bags at all. And besides, over here in Sacramento, I see way too many women carry MFF bags. They're just so unattractive. I rather spend the extra money and buy a full-price Coach bag.

I have bought and would buy MFF bags. I care more about what I like than what line it is. I got the MFF Kelsey and don't see any quality difference between that and my FP one. Went to Tuscola outlet last night to return something and didn't like ANY of the MFF stuff they had, aside from the Madison copies (Phoebe, Kelsey, etc.). I hate the MFF "textured leather." Feels cheap. The MFF saffiano can barely be called saffiano (nothing like the metallic Peyton Pocket Totes I got in late 2013). The neon is terrible, beyond ugly. They had some deletes, but nothing I wanted. The regular Borough is too a bit too small for me and and the large is way too big. I truly wanted to like the Mickie line, but I don't. Huge difference between those bags and the Rhyders.

I have some very nice mff bags and the quality is comprable to my full price bags. I have seen some poor quality bags in the outlet stores, I just stay away from those.

I just bought a Christie(?) from the FS & it is gorgeous. Grey colored & so pretty. I bought it bc I liked it. I looked on eBay ( to see what other colors existed) & saw black, navy but the detailing was a little different. I'm assuming the bag I got was MFF but had I not gone looking, I would've assumed it came from a FP. The quality seems normal & it's just so pretty.
