would you buy a made for outlet bag?

Hi all, I need some advice. I got my first MFF purse (Kelsey) from an outlet, and now I am having buyer's remorse. I paid $137.50 for it. It's a fun summer bag, but I feel like It's too much money and not enough quality for a bag that I am going to be really hard on in my daily use. I feel like it might not hold up. Should I return it and put the money towards a better quality FP or vintage Coach purse? Thank you!

I agree this is a good price for a Coach.
Lightweight fabric lining isn't unusual in a lighter weight summer bag.
It will probably clean up more easily also.
If you're not happy, though, return for something that makes you truly happy.

I bought my first MFF bag today. I have a very limited understanding of MFF vs. FP. The tag/receipt says it is an Isabelle Pebbled Leather but it doesn't look like an Isabelle when I look them up online. Does MFF copy FP designs, name them the same but they actually look different? Does this question even make sense? LOL. The bag is really pretty and seems to be well made. It is slouchy like the Izzy but has a different short strap.

Coach reuses names all the time. I've seen some bags on ebay that are called Isabelles but don't look the same.

Can you post some photos of your bag?

Here are a couple of pics. It looks pink but it is actually a bone or off white color with gold colored hardware. I really like the slouch. It is very comfortable. It came with a long shoulder strap but I won't be using it that way. The drop is perfect with the shorter strap

Ah, pretty bag! The tag really says Isabelle? I thought Coach was just calling this one a Leather Shoulder Bag. What's the style number on the tag? I'm curious now. They reuse names, but not usually on bags that look similar but aren't the same.

I'm curious too. When I saw one on ebay, the seller called it an Isabelle but in the picture of the tag it said "Leather Shoulder Bag."

I have found that any MFF bag I initially liked, and there have been very few, I do not like under closer inspection or use. I can tell the difference too easily from the FP items, and I just prefer the FP items. But I can see why people like some of the styles, they just aren't for me.

I don't see any difference in the quality of my MFF items. I have a MFF Zoe from 2009 that has better quality leather than many current FP items and is identical to the FP version except in the hardware color. My other two MFF bags are from last year. One is fabric trimmed in leather and is as nice as any other fabric bag. The other is saffiano and I like it better than the FP version because it has more pockets. The saffiano feels the same.

It isn't a quality issue so much for me, but they have a certain look that I just notice. Not a bad thing....I just for whatever reason haven't found a MFF I have really liked. I am sure there are a lot of great bags that are great quality. It is just my personal preference.

For example, I like the Rhyder bag, but do not like the MFF Mickie bags. They look fine in regard to quality...they just have a different look I don't like as much.

There isn't anything currently at the factory that excites me. There's not much at FP for me either. It's mostly because most are made of cross-grain leather. I agree that the Mickie bags don't look as nice as Rhyders. I think that is a good thing. I'd hate for there to be an exact copy of a FP bag made for outlet at or close to the same time. Some MFF versions of FP bags have been as nice or nearly as nice as the FP versions. Right now there are Phoebe and Kelsey at the outlets. If I found one I liked, I'd buy it even if it was MFF. I'd make my decision based on the color and feel of the leather, not the label.
