I would say no ...

LOL...I remember a ways back, you got a bag from FOS that came with an F creed and you weren't happy about it....was it a diagonal patent Sophia, or Juliette? Pink, if I remember correctly. That just stuck in my head as soon as I saw your response!

My mum loves Coach and I've bought her a few outlet bags in the past. She loves them and it always seems to be 50% off day at the outlet store - it's a win-win!

The last outlet bag I bought for her turned out to be a Madison... Apparently, they sometimes get the fancier bags at the outlet. I guess this was out of season or something, but the difference in quality was very obvious. This bag is stunning!

Every day is 50% off day at the outlet, 365 days/year. They sell mostly MFF (made for factory) items, but deleted retail bags often find their way there as well to be sold for 50% or more off the original price.

Depending on the bag and how its made I think some MFF are worth it, IE the remade Juliette/Lindsay/Kristen line/ legacy turnlocks, ect ... There really was no difference in quality there. I have both and compared the two and for the price and I liked them I mean why not? I buy bags for me and not for "resale value. "

the outlet store I thought I was going to has closed
I guess if they don't perform they close them pretty quickly. This one was open maybe six months to a year at most.

They have a plan to close 70 stores this year. It might not have anything to do with how well it was doing.

The outlet that opened last year at The Boardwalk in Shreveport, LA closed as well. When they opened it the statement was that it was intended as a 'pop up' short term thing. I had never heard of such a thing but this sort of thing is totally not my area.

Yes, I would purchase a MFF bag - and have, several times. Although I'm mainly a FP delete shopper, some of the MFF styles have really appealed to me in the past - I'm thinking of the MFF version of the Ali (which is a go-to bag for me) and the ruby pleated Lindsey, which is the only version of the Lindsey/Sophia-style design that I liked. (I also have a couple of the made-for-discount bags from TJ Maxx in bright colors - they're lightweight and cheerful and great in the summer.)

The more recent MFF styles haven't done much for me. Spouse did pick up a C-embossed leather weekender a while back that he really likes, though, and I have a brown leather duffel with canvas straps that is likely to get a lot of use in the future. (I tend to gravitate toward the men's MFF more than the women's.)

I imagine when they decided which stores to close they must have looked at their performance. The one I was just planning to go to, which closed, was in Laughlin NV. That shopping center doesn't get that much traffic and it's not upscale in terms of customers.
We have two Coach outlets in San Diego County (last time I checked). The one in Carlsbad is a more upscale shopping center so they have the nicer bags. The other one is at the Mexican border. It gets so busy at Christmas time there is a line to get in. Don't know if that one is still open as I haven't been down there for a while. They used to have NM Last Call there but that closed.
I really can't justify another bag right now anyway:)

I've been to Las Americas. It's a nice store. It wasn't that crowded.

I wonder if they are going to close Primm NV. It is usually pretty empty. The Las Vegas North outlet is always crowded, the south not as much, but the entire Primm outlet mall is pretty dead. We usually stop there on our way home from Las Vegas. Then we hit Barstow and that one is always packed.

We used to stay at Primm sometimes when they gave us free concert tickets and free rooms. They used to have some good concerts - not so much anymore.

I used to like to shop at the Tods store but they closed it. I think the whole property - hotel, casino, shopping center - is going in a bad direction.

I so forgot about Primm.
When I lived in Vegas there were like 10 buildings in the town.
Land was like 12$ an acre. Wish I had bought some now.

I was just at the Seattle Premium outlets about 2 weeks ago and the couch outlet there was packed. I ended up purchasing a tote and a wristlet. I Spent less than 140$ for the two of them. :) I don't know the names of the style names but i suspect they were made for outlet stuff.
My sister got a bag too which is very similar to the prairie bags in the full priced stores. I kind of regret not getting a cross body bag as well now.
