ATHLETA! And the best part is, you can exchange your purchases if you're not happy with them like a year after you buy it. I was unhappy because my pants started to pill so I returned them a year later and got a new pair free! And I've done that a few times now so I basically just keep exchanging my pants when they wear out, because they have a guarantee that they won't.

You use/wear something for a year then return it? And that's something you have done frequently? I've never had exercise clothes type materials pill but that's not the point....

Nancy Rose Performance and Kira Grace. I've shopped both (online) and have been very happy with the products I've bought (mostly bottoms) because I was looking for bottoms comparable to Lulu's Wunderunders (full length and crops) because Lulu's have been disintegrating qualitywise. Also, the Underarmour Studiolux line is good.

It's a guarantee. Sounds like they encourage it:

Ooh, there's a store in my state! I'll have to check it out.

I've been pretty happy with Gap and even Old Navy's fitness clothing. I have a pair of Gap leggings which are awesome: no sheen, small zip pocket, drawstring at the waist. I have not tried Lululemon, just because of the cost. Even Athleta is more than I want to usually spend. I'd like to try more Nike and UA, but the sports stores nearby are usually out of my very average size (small/medium).

Am I the only one who was underwhelmed by Athleta? As someone else mentioned fit was inconsistent even including pant length for different pairs of the same size. I walked out empty-handed and resigned to shop elsewhere.

Although the staff at a local Lucy were really young I find that a lot of the prints and designs look more mature. Maybe I'm just too juvenile :p In any case, I have also given up trying to find anything there either.

My current rotation of workout gear includes UA, Champion, Columbia, lululemon, Zella and Nike. Only items that I have to take extra care to wash are the lulu. Others do fine in a regular wash cycle.

I love my Lulus but lately I've been disappointed with the product offerings & colors. Today I went into Lucy & tried on a bunch of stuff and the fit was SO bad on me! Tried on some yoga leggings in an XS and they were too big (I take a 2 in Lulu)... the tops just looked frumpy on me. I was disappointed. I think Zella stuff is really nicely made & I've seen it turn up at the rack, I'm gonig to try that next.

SAs at Lucy's have always been so nice but I agree - their gear is too "mature." I only wear lulu. I've had issues with other brands shrinking like crazy and difficulty finding anything flattering. I stocked up on lulu a long time ago so I rarely buy anything now. Hehe.

C9 by Target is the best IMO - price wise & quality. I prefer not to spend too much on gym clothes as they are always in the washing machine. All my C9 items have held up really well, I have vests, zip-up jacket, pants and tees. I find you have to search different stores for colors and sizes but its worth it!

I also have found some good quality work-out tops at H&M, but I don't rate their pants.

I'm a big Lulu fan because the size 2 fits great! Besides Lulu, I like Zella (but I find Zella sizing a little large for me, the XS in pants usually is a little too big, and only certain XS tops work for me), Zobha (more appropriate for yoga than running), 2XU for compression tights (love the Elite Women's compression tights!) & Stella Mccartney for Adidas.

I've been meaning to try Nancy Rose/Kira Rose, the reviews look great!

Yes because they GUARANTEE that their apparel won't pill. Normally it starts to pill a month after I start wearing it, so I just go back and exchange it for a new pair.

Athleta has never let me down, personally. I live in the revelation pants and wear/wash them constantly (work out 5 days a week)... also wear the zip line tanks and launder them just as much. No shrinkage, no pilling, nothing... in comparison, I had a pair of lululemon pants that were pretty disappointing. Guess it depends on a variety of factors, but for me, it's Athelta all the way, haha.
