With everyone talking about wicking clothes ..... Do NOT use fabric softner (liquid or the sheets) with these clothes. It will ruin the wicking ability.

So what I use instead is white vinegar. I put it in the liquid fabric softner dispenser in the washing machine. Works great!

If your workout clothes get a little stinky .... add a little extra white vinegar right with the clothes when you wash them. Works like a charm!

thanks for the tip. i never knew that!

The Tide Sport with Febreeze works well too. I hang my workout clothes to air dry before I put them in a hamper (don't want to put a bunch of sweaty clothes piled on top of eachother). Never have had problems with odor.

The washing machine in my building doesn't have a lot of options, so I wash and dry my clothes on the delicate cycle.

You shouldn't use liquid fabric softer on workout clothes with dry-wick or any type of dry/sweat technology. The fabric softener will clog the fibers and ruin the duo wick properties.

Tips to make you feels gorgeaus worked on me:

1. Only wear one brand, so you look more pro and feel too, not fussy.
2. Dont ever wear workoutclothes twice, wash them every time, no matter if you didnt get them sweaty.
3. Dont wear anything too small or too short, no matter what your size is its so tacky.
4.Get the colours co-ordinated and if possible, have a different outfit for every workout day, that will save you from washing all the time and also inspires you to work ut.
5.Wear attleast nailpolish, so you feel pretty, even without any other makeup.

Getting attention from hotsports is very nice for ones selfesteem:smile1:

What I want to say from experience for OP, is that you should really invest for quality sportwear, if you really want to enjoy it. They are so much better made, for like sweating, not feeling hot, seams are made to be comfortable on run, etc. If you are plus size, go to mans apartment. And remember, no real sport is going to think you are like fat or phetetic, if you really try! More you try, more you get respect, staying clean and showing interest and good feeling is it. Not the attitude " Im just here becouse I have to, Im really not enjoying it.." That attitude is the best outfit you gan get, it comes from all sizes and cost nothing.

Or you could try thriftshops for good bargains, quality sportwears last for long time, but pro sprttypes allways tend to change them for latest models or stop using if they show wear:p

I buy most of my workout clothes from the Nike outlet. I've also had good luck with the Under Armour outlet. Otherwise I just watch for sales and try to buy at the end of the season. Right now I'm watching for long sleeve shirts and pants since stores are putting out all their spring time clothing.

I hang up all my workout clothes to dry on a drying rack. No worries about fabric softener! ;)

Hot-coral nailpolish...light salontan...bestlooking guy smiling you at the gym...

Ofcourse its not ALL about looks, but they honestly help feeling more confident and pretty, which is comfortable:kiss:

Happy workout days with upcoming spring for everyone!

While I like the Lulu stuff I have, I would like some alternative options. My local store is AWFUL, and last time I went in I was the only person in there and none of the 4 salespeople offered to help. When I finally got their attention, they were completely unfamiliar with basic items and where they were located in the store.
They didn't have much stock in the items I wanted and online is frequently sold out. For those prices, I expect more.
What are some other good workout brands? Ideally, I am looking for something similar to the Run Inspires .

^^ I am not familiar with the brand you mentioned. I have never found Lulu clothing to be comfortable or long wearing. I'm a Nike girl, and sometimes Under Armour. Pretty much mainstream stuff, but they last last last and my stuff gets laundered ALL the time.

Am curious to see other brands out there.....
