I like lucy, but I usually buy 2 for $40 tees and I bought a couple of jackets which I LOVE. I got some discontinued cargo style pants there years ago which were OK for working out (they stretched), but they looked like street pants. I like them for hiking. The yoga pants I usually use are Nike and I have had those for years.

I would recommend trying things on in the lucy store - everything fits differently. Web site is lucy.com.

I really like New Balance when I can find it. Also, Athleta is good. Prana. I buy these brands for yoga but they make other kinds of sport clothes. Athleta is part of the Gap,Banana Republic,Piperlime group.:balloon::smile1:

I personally stick with Nike everything. You can always find it for a reasonable price at places like Sports Authority and the Nike outlet. Their running shorts and tanks with built in sports bras are my go-tos for working out at the gym. I don't like wearing anything other than shorts to work out in.

I absolutely hate walking into a Lululemon store; the Lululemon SAs are incredibly irritating here. Hence I buy most of my Lulu stuff online.

Anyway, I love Lorna Jane. I'm still experimenting with Under Armour, and haven't found tights that work for me there yet. Nike stuff is surprisingly good. For compression, I like Skins and 2XU also.

I bought a few items from them before but noticed after washing few times the material becomes sticky like or snags easily.

Now I buy Victoria's secrets work out clothes. Always a great deal during semi annual sales some years as much as 75% off

I also like Lucy. Their prices can be right up there w lululemon but I've gotten some great deals...ex 25% additional off sales items. I like their camis and shirts for layering pieces i can peel off during classes. I have a few pairs of their crops and they are great. I'm going up to the nearest lucy store to me next month and want to check out the new "perfect booty" pant line. Sounds kinda gimmicky to me but it has gotten my interest.

I just bought a pair of yoga pants and another pair of running pants (legging style) from VSX, which is Victoria's Secret's exercise clothes store. The pants are great, although the store is a bit too Victoria's to seem exercise-y.

Gap has some good workout stuff now, and I've heard good things about Athleta, but we don't have a store here so I haven't tried them. I refuse to buy things without trying them on unless I am very familiar with my size in the brand.

Nike, Under Armour and C9 from Target

My twin. I usually buy Nike and Under Armour on super sale at places like TJ Maxx/Marshall's or the outlet stores. I got a pair of UA shorts for around $5 last weekend. I'm really not picky about shorts - I have Reebok, Pony, etc. I just like something cool and airy and short, and they are a dime a dozen!

I am much pickier about sports bras. I don't like having "headlights" so none of that thin material for me, please! I tend to stick to Nike compression bras.

I have a pair of compression tights from C9 that I bought on a whim. I wanted the UA, but I couldn't justify paying more than twice the price. These wash and wear incredibly well. I wear them under my shorts when I go running even though I have a cute butt. :D

I got the cutest moto style jacket (with thumb holes!!) from Target the other day. C9 and just my favorite piece of exercise clothing ever. I get so many compliments on it. It's biased cut in the back so a little peek of my hot pink yoga top underneath does the trick!! It's the little things that keep me going on that elliptical...
