Hola everyone.
I'm planning to visit Woodbury in 3 weeks for the 1st time and I'm thinking about visiting the Dior store to get some makeup, do they sell it? What about a miss Dior bag, is it possible to find it there?

I read that it might be better to call the store but I just can't find it. If someone knows the phone number or an email, could you please let me know. I will highly appreciate.

Also, do you know if there will be a lot of summer accessories or clothing with good discount?

Thanks!

I dont think makeup is sold at the outlets and neither the Miss Dior or Lady Dior bags go to the outlets - those are classic bags and never go on sale. Only seasonal bags, RTW, accessories and shoes/boots are at the outlet.

If anyone goes to the Woodbury Commons outlet soon, can you stop by the Balenciaga store and see if they have any leather bags from the motorcycle line? Another forum member posted that she recently saw beige leather Day bags, but when I called the store they said they only carry the canvas/leather bags, not the full leather.

I wouldn't recommend going today, not even to my worse enemy. It was cold to say the least, and considering woodbury is at a higher elevation.. oh gosh I don't even want to know how cold it was.

I've gone when it was 30 degrees, and it wasn't terrible. I was also there during black friday, and it was cold then too.

I checked the weather, and it seems that on saturday it would be a good day to go. Might be raining though. But this weekend overall seems nice. Just bundle up properly and you should be ok.

good idea, thanks! its more the fact that i have a toddler in a stroller that I'm worried about, if i really wanted to i could probably tolerate the cold lol but i don't want to subject him unnecessarily.

I always want to go back! ARGH I haven't gone back after getting a full time job. I would love to blow some of my money on bags NOW that I can actually afford it. I remember only going there and buying Juicy Couture cause thats all I could afford. Haha! This time probably buy something from Dior or something ;)

Hello Ladies,
We're visiting the US for the first time for a 40 day west & east coast trip and I'm looking forward to the Shopping!!
Our last stop is NYC. We're driving in from Boston on memorial day weekend , Saturday 24th May.
We've planned to drive directly to Woodbury on the 24th,shop & stay at Woodbury on 24th & 25th and drive into Manhattan eary 26th Morning and fly out 30th May

I'm looking to score some good deals on some high class designer bags...Gucci, Prada, Chanel/Dior or the like Classics... not very season specific..

I'm looking for advice on weather I should head to NYC directly on the 24th for the memorial day sales at Barneys, Lord& Taylor or Bloomingdales.. Where do you think I'm more likely to get a Gucci metallic Soho/ similar
I'm also looking for suggestions for an awesome bag .. ! own a few Dammier LVs, a brown YSL muse and an absolutely gorgeous blue & white printed Roberto Cavalli Diva

Thanks in Advance!

I do not believe they have a Chanel there anymore. When it was there it was very disappointing. No good bags, just a few odd-ball bags that could be found at other discount stores, and some racks with a scant amount of clothing.

That said, I have found Woodbury to be a lot of fun and we generally find things we like. My daughter has scored great shoes from many top brands - though not Chanel- and a Balenciaga bag for $500 at Neiman Marcus Last Chance.

Look up the Woodbury website and sign up as a VIP when you get closer to arriving in NYC to see what discount coupons might be available. Just expect crowds at that time of year.

Also check the sales in NYC which are often good. Department store might have some seasonal Chanel on sale. First cut designer shoes are usually 30% off, second cut is deeper, but there will not be much selection by then. Seasonal bags do go on sale, but never classic bags.

Happy hunting!

Thank you Sunny flies...

I'm now beginning to wonder if Woodbury warrants a two night/ 1.5 day visit.
Should I head to NYC a day ealier to catch the action there?

We also hope to visit the Premium Outlet Vineland, Orlando when we're there between may 7 & 12
Are the bags at woodbury significantly better than Vineland or vice-versa?
Thanks for any advice!

There are two outlets in Orlando, about 15 min from one another-Vineland and I Drive. Both are worth going to. Woodbury has most of the same stores, but Woodbury also has Chloe, YSL, Gucci, and last I went to Orlando (9 months ago) they did not. I saw in the other thread you asked specifically about Burberry and Prada-I have found them to have fairly similar stock. The Ferragamo outlet in Orlando has a better selection in my opinion. If you have time it is definitely worth a trip to both the NY and FL outlets. Have a good time!

Depends what you are looking for... It might be worth heading right over the bridge to NJ outlets - no tax on clothing or shoes :)

Honestly I have not been to Woodbury in years - I'm wondering if it's worth the trip too. I've been thinking of heading that way soon as well.

Only go on a weekday. The weekends are so crazy crowded to the point that it's annoying to be there.

The store selection is amazing but deals can be hit or miss. I tend to agree with shoppinggalnyc that the NJ outlets are better bc they're much closer to the city & there's no sales tax on clothing.
