Hi Happyangel - keep the 38 - I think it looks much better on you. The jacket is meant to be worn fitted and it is not meant to be zipped up.

This jacket looks way better unzipped, or just zipped less than halfway if it MUST be zipped.
Just my opinion tho, you go with what you feel!

Unless you seriously feel better in the 40 which it sounds like you don't I would go with the 38. A slightly looser fit is fine in my opinion but in this picture, the back is looking too big...I would want to see it skimming your body in either size. 38 looks great and it will conform to you and get more comfy as you wear it.

Ooooooh This scarf is an Hermes? Not a Denis Combs. I didn't think the picture was the same on Neta Porter. I didn't need to know this information and at 1000 dollars it's @ 1/3 of a moto, LOL??

HappyAngel I agree with the others , the 38 is a better fit. I don't think 40 looks bad on you but if you do lose the weight you plan to lose, it will definitely look too big and feel too big. And the sleeves already look a bit too long in the 40.

I am very happy to get a Balenciaga jacket (I spend hours in this thread looking at tons of gorgeous modeling pictures before I buy mine) I can't believe how soft the leather is....& the canard is not as versatile as black with silver zipper...but it doesn't look as harsh & that's what I am looking for now. I will definitely get a black with silver zipper if Balenciaga ever decide to remake it.

RACHEY07 & JohnfromBrampto: I will wear the jacket unzip...& thanks for letting me know that it's ok to buy a jacket that I can't zip up. I guess I wasn't familiar with balenciaga jacket before & didn't know how I am supposed to wear it.

Okay Vesna you posting this blue scarf spawned me towards the Bay to look for some kind of blue silk wrap, shawl etc.

I won this vintage Emilio Pucci at a fabulous price! What I like about this particular scarf is that it will go with my black, silver and tan moto!! Thank you for the inspiration and that picture of JA with the Hermes!!
