:yahoo:it looks fabulous!!! I'm so glad you followed your instinct and went with the black one. It looks sooooooo great on you!! yayyyyy congrats!

Did you the the F&B boots yet??

??? I saw your "private listing" on Ebay for an amazing deal to someone!!! I was really really jealous. What happened?!

Dear RACHEY07, thank you so much for your interest! The buyer bought the jacket from another account than the one in the listing statet as private sale for this person and then didn't pay for it within 3 days as in the auction statet as terms of the auction. So I refused to sell, it made me feel uncomfortable.....

But RACHEY07 I am more than happy I kept it:yahoo:

delmilano: Thanks, I will take some pictures when I get home.

pokus14: Your jacket looks fantastic! It fits u very well. I love how the leather look in the front of the jacket too. I bought the canard, but after seeing your black color jacket...I am having a second though. LOL. I am leaning towards the size 38 too...but I will post pics tonight just to make sure. :) I think we are similar in sizes too..but hopefully, after losing some weight...the size 38 jacket will fit better.

Eilene: I am glad to hear that the jacket will stretch though. Does it stretch much though? Like before you can only wear a T-shirt underneath it....& after some stretching, you can wear a sweater underneath it? Do you zip up the jacket in order to stretch it? Thanks

Wow! well, obviously it was meant to be yours....and it certainly looks like it was because it looks amazing on you. You definitely made the right choice! :p

Hi, I finally get my dream jacket...but I am torn between the sizing. I am about 5'4 & 127 lbs.

Size 38 - fits very nice on the arms & sleeve (length). I can comfortably move my arms around when unzipped. The jacket looks awesome unzipped. However, I can't really zip the jacket up. I tried really hard to zip up like 4 inches, but I look like a sausage & the zipper looks like it will break anytime. The 2010 leather is very smooth in the size 38...so I am not sure if it will stretch at all or how much it will stretch.

Size 40 - the arm area doesn't fit nicely (loose) & the sleeve looks a bit long. It looks big when unzipped & it looks like I have shoulder pads on my shoulders. However, I can zipped it up all the way...but it still feels tight though.

Now, I don't know what to do. The size 38 makes me look cooler & I feel great wearing it, but I can't even zip it up! It seems like the size 40 actually fits me better, but the arms area look loose. I am planning to lose 10 pounds anyway...so I am not sure if I should get the size 38 (even when I can't zip it up & may not be able to zip the jacket up even when I lose weight) or should I get the size 40 ? I think my problem is I have a bigger belly....so I am not sure what to do. Is it stupid to spend all that money on a jacket that you can't really zip up at all? Please give me some opinion as I have till Thursday before I have to return one of the jacket! Thank you in advance!

^^Hi!! Honestly, it all comes down to personal taste- do you like the jacket zipped? if you keep the 40, do you think you will zip it all the time?

IMHO, the 38 looks better on you. And, it sounds like it feels better on you too. The jacket is not meant to be worn zipped (though some people who live in really cold areas may consider it a requirement) it's just a matter of how YOU want to wear it. Also, you said the 40 still feels tight when zipped, which makes me think you probably won't want to wear it that way.

I absolutely do NOT think it is silly to spend that money on a jacket you can't zip. It looks fabulous unzipped! It is not a winter coat. Just throw a thick scarf on with it!

It won't stretch too much, but will soften up and mold to you. I really think you answered your own question by saying the 38 makes you look cooler and feel great! I know its hard to think of spending so much money on something that doesn't feel comfy zipped...I went through this too. Mine zips but feels uncomfortable. I debated going up a size for sooooo long and I am so glad I stayed with the smaller one.

Hope this helps...and congrats on your gorgeous new jacket!!

Hi,

I have to agree with Rachey07! The 38 is the one for you.... Even if I am smaller than you I cant zip mine without looking like a stuffed sausage. But if it was bigger it wouldn´t look so cool unzipped.
You also say it feels great in size 38 and you can always wear a thin sweater underneath and a big scarf... will look great and keep you warm.

It really dont look great zipped on most people in my opinion... and I cant understand that anyone can fit into a size 34 - lol. They are quite small in size.

Good luck with what you decide. The Canard is gorgeous - I just like the leather with structure (I feel the same way with bags - if I can choose I always take the one with structured leather), but I am sure the Canard will look better and better with time.

Now I just need to start using my jacket :graucho: I just want to look at it and stroke it ;) But at that price - I really need to wear it too.

Let us know what you decide.

PS. you dont have a big belly thats for sure :smile1:

Thanks all of you for your sweet comments... I really love the jacket and can look at it all the time.
Did you do the same before you actually started wearing it? I am so afraid something will happen to it, but I guess I just have to put it on and walk out the door ;)

Pinkydream I just ordered my black when I saw your brown with silver zippers on Ebay... If I could I would have bought it - its so gorgoeus!!!
You wont regret keeping it :smile1:
