Why do you take your jewelry off when you get home?

I take off my wedding ring and Annv. ring when I get home. I am so hard on my jewelry, I hate taking them off, but I know it's best if I do. I right away slip into a platinum Tiffany band so I still look/feel married. I know- strange!!!! I wear this cleaning, to bed, everywhere, all the time. I am so glad I got this!!!! I hated not having any ring on at all. I wear my rolex all of the time- bed, shower- everywhere. I also wear my Tiffany heart brac. I do love it though I love some of my other bracelets alot. It has a real funky clasp. The 2 hearts have to be lined up and then pulled apart. I am lazy- so I just keep it on! I change my necklaces and I am not much for earrings!

I take off everything (necklace, bracelet, watch, rings) except my diamond studs (lately I wear studs in all my holes) and wedding ring as soon as I come home. My wedding ring comes off right before bed, but if I'm hard core cleaning with bleach then it comes off too. Everything goes back on in the morning after I shower. I guess I don't see a reason to wear diamonds around the house, but I never really thought about it until just now.

I take off all my jewellery when I get home - it's just more comfortable that way. Lately however, I've taken to leaving my bracelets on. I take them off at some point and always before I go to bed.

I take my bracelet and watch off, and sometimes my necklace if I remember (I often just plain forget). It's not only more comfortable, but it's kinda something that let's me know I'm home now, I can relax. Sorry if that sounds weird hehe.

I take off my jewelry when I get home because 1) it looks stupid with my ripped/faded nightshirts; 2) I like to store my jewelry in cases while I still have the energy; and 3) I would forget to take it off before I showered if I didn't.

I take off all my jewelry when I'm home. I do a lot of needlework, and rings, bracelets, catch on the yarn. I get home, take off my shoes, then my jewelry, then change in to sweats.

Necklaces and earrings get changed everyday, so they'd have to come off anyway, so might as well be when the my other things do.

I leave in my studs & tiny hoops in my 2nd & 3rd piercings but always remove my other earrings - usually they are big - either hoops or dangles & I don't want to ruin them, plus uncomfortable sleeping.

I take off all necklaces, bracelets & rings except
I never take my wedding rings or thumb ring off except to clean them.

I wear my watch to bed too - because my alarm is set ahead.
Need to know what time it really is - lol.

And does this include your wedding ring? Just curious, as there are some things i never take off, such as wedding ring and diamond pendant, as it is fiddly to put on. hope you don't mind the question. :flowers:

I dont, I never take my grandfathers ring nor my wedding band off. I also have an eternity band I wear on my baby finger it doesnt come off. Until recently I never even took my 2 bracelets off. Heck some night I even forget to take my watch off .. LOL
