Who's waiting next for the Birkin?

Kelly - apparently "violine" is between violet and raisin. But, who knows?! I have called many stores and very few have seen this color. Only Hermes Paris and Hermes in my city could give me a "somewhat" description.

LaVan, I am very excited about this color. It just sounds so interesting to me. I love color, but what is neat is purple has a special twist for me. It for some reason is a color that popped up so many times in my life when my husband an I were becomming a couple. (weird I know) But I love raisin because it is different. It doesn't scream purple and it is a neat alternative to a darker bag like black. Looks great with palladium too. Let me know if you do see this color.

I agree with you KB, it's sounds interesting this "violine". I love purple and this seems a subdued purple kind of color, very chic, not loud.. very interesting... Whoever sees it report here ASAP..;)

Lavan, Because it is Hermes I think that is why everyone wants a color. Their colors are amazing and pretty much untouched in the business. When you look at them they all pop no matter what the shade.

I can't wait to hear your report on the color...keep us posted!

I'm really itching to see this color. Every week on Tuesday, Hermes at my city gets a new shipment. I hope the Birkin is there then tomorrow. If not, I have to wait again one more week, and another, and another ..........

You can see "violine" 2 ways:

1. The color sucks so nobody orders it
2. A luxurious limited/new color that is rare to find since very few have seen it!

I hope it's more the 2nd option.

  ! LaVan, I opt for N°2; I don't think any H color "sucks" so it must be a new color that not many people have seen yet. I think I'll drop by my local H tomorrow and see what's arrived and..if there's anything violine so that I can report back here..;)

Good, Good, Good! I opt for #2 as well. There is never a bad color or an awful color. It may not be your preference, but all their colors are beautiful. I love the reports!
