Whole new Style - no Hardware (2016)

This style is so weird that I almost like it...in a weird kind of way, because there is nothing like it...

I know EXACTLY what you are saying; heck .. I have quite a few "odd" Balenciaga bags that were not fan favorites, but they are some of my faves (like my Riva bags!). I just heard back from the Bal boutique, and the Red Blackout bag is more of a Burgundy Red as opposed to a true Red, so I'm not sure about it .. really need to see it IRL!

I also like the odd ones better, quite fed up with the motorcycle bags. I even reducing my collection of them and lost pretty quickly my interest in the vibrato bags. It's sad because they are beautiful.

Not happy to hear that the leather on the small cities are not nice. The wrinkling and the creases should make a bag better not worse. :hrmm:
I don't need another city but a small one would have been nice.

Sorry to hear that there will be no red only the burgundy color CeeJay.

 Yay Lakotan & CeeJay ~ so glad I'm not the only one who is willing to give this one a chance! I am intrigued by its minimalism. It's just flat out interesting to me. :flowers::flowers:

I like it in terms of "art," but wouldn't carry it. it's a cool limited edition bag but doesn't seem practical? the leather looks like it would get messy really fast, and lots of edge coating that could crack. I kinda get the feeling that they're trying to tap into the "minimalism" trend but don't know how.

HELLO my friend!!!! .. yeah, like I said .. I really need to see this IRL because in some respects, I like the kind of "zen" (quiet) quality of it .. but of course, the leather will be it's ultimate fate!!!

*clapping* fab "zen" description!!! this is the closest description I agree, I am so in love in these. red or black, to me, they are real gems

Just received pics from the Bal-LA boutique, of a whole new 'style' .. without any hardware (as you will all see). This is something that I have to see IRL, because I'm not quite sure about it .. however, since it is Calfskin leather (like the Metal Plate), one never knows!!!

This looks really cool and seems like it would be considerably lighter! I wonder if there will be "custom" Bals in the future where you c an buy this and choose your own mix of hardware a and snap it on yourself? Would be awesome, so you can have just one black city and clip on the kind of hardware you're feeling.

i saw them in person at Nordstrom yesterday and to me they looked bizarre and like sometime took a hole punch and went to town. Not for me, but hey, that is the fun thing about fashion... endless choices to express our individual style and taste.:heart:

Like Crocs' Jibbitz charms.

Diamond Jibbitz from Tiffany! NOW we're talking!:lol::lol:
