Small City costs approx 2.3 k usd, leather feels stiff and not as smooth as Papier, though it looks at a first glance similar, probably coz it's calf, too. I didn't like it in the photo and I liked it even less in person. Totally not my story. For an unfinished looking bag (imho, prone to scratches) priced at 2.3 k it's a total no-go. No offence to anyone, but I am carrying my Papier A5 with studs and tassles and I am strongly against BBags without studs!

Thanks *ksuromx* for the pics and your input!! I kinda liked the last pic, but when I read your comments .. it will be a NO-GO for me for sure. At that price and then to be scared to wear it for fear of scratches .. NO THANK YOU!!!! My Bal S/A said that while they do not have the Red one in their store, she could always get it in from another one, but honestly .. I'm not super interested anymore .. especially in light of the "Vibrato" bags .. WOO-HOO!!!

They didn't have it in display, and when i asked a SA about it she was kinda surprised, she got out from the back room and it had a stain right in the middle of the front, most probably from a lip gloss, coz it had lots of tiny shining particles, guess someone applied a lippy with a finger and then touched the bag. By that, i assume the bag is not that smooth, (otherwise they would have wiped that off), by touch it felt similar to H epsom leather, tho a tad more pore-y, if you know what i mean... i might be mistaken, but as per my feeling she would easily get scratched, even by your nails...
I totally forgot to ask about vibrato, but pix online look really sexy, i guess that will be a real gem by touch ( and most probably in wear), similar to Papier line

For me it was a bit of emotional shock, mixed feelings, but honestly, i feel sorry for it, (later i figured out) for its ghost-y eyeless and teethless face... it does look different, that's for sure, but not appealing at all

To me it looks like the Balenciaga people were all sitting around the table - brainstrorming as to how they can sell more moto bags - someone jumps up - Ive got it! lets just delete all the hardware! The Grinch look!
