I have to say, when this bag first came out....I HATED it! But now it's grown on me, and I really like it! Lol! I thought, why would anyone pay this much for a bag WITHOUT the hardware that makes Balenciaga....well Balenciaga. But I am feeling totally different about it, ugh, go figure! Time to hide the wallet....oh speaking of wallets, do they make this style in wallets? Hmmm?

Late to the party as always -- I finally stopped by B to look at them. And I was surprised at how much I like the small black one. The leather felt so nice and soft. The only thing I am not sure about are those magnetic button closures. Above my budget at this point but I wouldn't turn it down if gifted one :)

now is time of mid-year sale, maybe you can find it at a reasonable price?
i remember, when i first saw it, S was more expensive than regular size City.... bummer ....

They weren't on sale at B as if yesterday -- the SA informed me that the blanket bags were though (lol). Will check the preloved market.

Anyway, am glad that I have procured Plate to get a feel of the lushy calf skin. I know this is different calfskin type, but with the design and the price, I'd choose Plate over and over again.

IMG_6528.jpg i actually hate this bag when it first came out, not only it was expensive but weird as well..but years later it grew on me. Finally Took the plunge getting this mini baby early this year and i am really surprised with the leather. Since u all mentioned blackouts used the same leather from Hermes, no wonder it reminded me of clemence leather, pebbled yet soft & smooshy but very thick. So far it is my fav go to bag, the rest sits in the cabinet am soo happy with the purchase, no regrets at all
