White marks on Mono Canvas...

Hmm, I haven’t heard anything on the Alma. Hopefully, others will chime in with some thoughts. One would think if it was just leather conditioner, and safe for a natural skin, it would wipe off coated canvas.
LV’s spiel about leather products on their canvas is that these products will dehydrate the canvas causing it to dry and eventually crack

Hello, its is an Alma PM. It is made 2005. If its peeling then I wonder why the SAs from the store couldnt say it with certainty. I did tell them i wiped it with Meguiars leather conditioning wipes and thats when i started seeing these marks and that made them unsure. I only used the wipes once..

Wow I didn’t know your bag was 14 years old. For some reason I thought it was new. Hope your issue is resolved and it all works out for you.

This perhaps is the root cause. The white marks are not residue from the wipes but the marks that shows impending peeling caused by dehydration from using the wipes. I wish I knew :(

I think i fixed it  I have a rejuvenate pen mark and i colored the white marks!
The vachetta looks new on this 14 yr old alma because i had it all replaced a few months ago
The issue doesnt look obvious now eh?

Hi everyone - I know that sometimes people get white marks on their canvas but I thought it was supposed to disappear if you used a baby wipe or eraser. Mine go away at first then they come back. I bought this Montaigne BB a few weeks ago and just noticed these white marks. Should I exchange it or is this a common issue with the Montaigne? It really bothers me. These bags aren’t cheap so the quality should be there. Also, is this the beginning of a bigger issue if left untreated? Thanks for your input.
