Loving all of the red hot scarves (and the red hot owners!) You all look absolutely hot hot hot!!! Here is my contribution a la michel. It is a combo of Au Fil Du Carre and L'Art Indien Des Plaines. Both scarves have the same colors in them, so I thought I'd give it a try. So sorry for the poor lighting. It makes me look a bit jaundiced. (I really wasn't that sick!)

sophieg, I hope you have a fabulous and safe trip!

Pussywillow, that's a very thoughtful observation about Folies du Ciel, and from my limited knowledge, I'd agree.

Micheldietlin and John in DFW, you two gentlemen are also a treat to see; thank you so much for posting.

Oh, Bienchen; where are you? My plumbago is jumping out of the ground, with the approximate 6" of rain this month. Unfortunately, the thistles and dandelions are, too. If only I liked to eat them, or had a goat....HEY! Sparklelisab! May I borrow a bovine? My lawn nearly needs baling.

I didn't even know what funny VnSoie was talking about. I thought she was appropriately slamming me for all the animal information.

Oh, hon, I wouldn't do that!

Tango! Ladybaga! :graucho: It's time for a slumber-party/intervention/Monty-Python-movie-marathon! Whose house? Who's kidnapping Sparklelisab (Gobble, Gobble, Sorry-I-can't-recall-the-hedgehog's-name-at-the-moment, and a bovine are optional attendees)? This will open up a whole new world to you!

What have the Romans ever done for us? ...Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.... What's so blessed about being a cheesemaker? (You'll never read the Beatitudes in the same way again.) :D

Essiedub, thank you for your gracious compliment and statement of "preference" for the ascot look. I believe your vote represents the "minority" view, but it's a surprisingly vocal minority. I admit to getting a kick out of those situations where a woman offers her compliment while her male companion (read: Texas alpha-husband) offers a smirk of condecension (as he wonders, did John's wife make him do this or is he...?)

John

JOHN, :roflmfao: screw 'em. Thank you for dressing nicely and giving us something to admire while some of those "alpha husbands"/boyfriends of the world slob around.

VnSoie!!! You are CRACKING me up. This is Chevre, my baby. She will eat your dandalions and whatever else you have on the ground. (I realize I have never posted my face, and this is scarfless, earring-less and donning a sweatshirt but I will swalllow vanity...)

Hi! I will be back this evening to gawk and chat, but just stopping in to post my red for the day. This one has a distinct orange-ness to it, which surprised me when I saw it in person the first time. Wow! This is my third red in a row, I'm sticking to the theme real well this time!! :p

Oh wow, there are some beauties to comment on later, I can see that much!!

Dang Euridice, you have some beauties!! Is this pegasus? Like Lanit's? Sooo beautiful.

Sparklelisab, YOU SPARKLE!!! This is the prettiest picture! You are gorgeous! Love your sweet precious Chevre! Sweet little thing....how old is she? I love that you have such a menagerie. I know you are a loving animal mom.

VnSoie, You crack me up!!! The slumber party will be at my house!!!

Sparklelisab, since you asked for more scarf, here is a second pic of me attempting to 'Double up'. (P.s. I didn't leave the house this way...too much silk going on.) Oh, LOVE your red mousse!!!

So many great comments and silks being posted! I will catch up later in the week with comments and thanks, but hannahsophia - what a marvelous new silk - I adore those shells! Congrats!

Yesterday was the first day of spring and I want to wish you all a wonderful week in welcoming my favorite season of the year. It was overcast and rain threatened, but I managed to tuck in one of my Lost Ones - my term for the silks I need to bring out more. It is more red than any other color, and one of my happiest Bay transactions that I have experienced. A completely unexpected and beautiful silk of firework colors! Feux du Ciel by Kwumi Seredin.

Lanit, Loving this colorful scarf! I can see the fireworks pop! Stunning!

I tried with one of those "extended arm" self taken pic with my blackberry and this is the best I got. Can't believe I got away with it in my office with no one seeing LOL

My red scarf ... not sure what knot I did as I need to go for scarf tying lessons still at my local H store.

I have a nice business dress on with a cinched waist as I lost some weight recently and this pic does it no justice!

oh well,

Pomba, You look great! Such a striking scarf in colors that I LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I'm loving Red week so far! Yesterday I wore one of the Forgotten 24 - Hola Flamenca in red/black/white.

I wrote about this on my thread here, but I'm now undertaking the TangoTosca Spring 2012 Challenge - wearing the 24 scarves I haven't worn since 2011 before indulging myself again repeats. Now, considering we have some fun theme weeks coming up and I have some scarves that fit the bill perfectly, I know I'm not going to be able to adhere to my goal of no repeats. But, I'm still trying to give priority to the F24.

I am easily amused, I know, but I still find it neato that this scarf "disappears" into this dress. Stealth Scarf :ninja:

This could be a magic act! The Fabulous Tango Tosca and her disappearing scarf! I would love for this one to disappear from your house and magically appear in mine!!! Love this so much and you, of course, are stunning! (No magic needed there!)
