Printemps-Ete 69/Automne-Hiver 70 to be correct

The official title of this one is too lengthy an appellation: Printemps Ete is what it gets termed chez nous.

Looking rather swish in your black/yellow version - love the tights!

thanks! and tks sushiqueen

love the tights too, was looking high and low for a pair that has the perfect denier.

Y'all, thought the Pegase would be a great combo with my new Double Sens, which I am debuting on this thread!!

Doesn't do the color justice. Thanks for letting me share!!

This is gorgeous! What a great vision of beauty to start my day!!! Congratulations, Euridice!!! I am beyond excited for you!!!!:yahoo:
The bag has both that pop of BE and the subtle reversible side! Your Pegase is so colorful and fun! A++++++

Eurydice - I am jealous of that color of Pegase. It's so gorgeous!
Sparkle - such a cute goat. Is she Nubian? Goats are so adorable and smart and eat what other animals cannot eat! You look so lovely with her and I also love the picture with your mousse and that great jacket!
TT - you look gorgeous and ready to dance.

Thank you, Maedi. Hope you are doing well! :smile1:

Thank you! BE is the best color EVER! No wonder I succumbed.... And pebbled leather is my true love. Thanks so much for your lovely comments!!!

Euridice - congrats on your DS and wonderful to be twins times two dear! So glad you love the BE - it is such a fabulous color and goes with everything! I tend to use the graphite side more for work, but even then then BE color is so great how it pops out in a fun way.

Ladybaga - a joy to see you well and with your two bright silks - what artistry!

sparkle - Chevre is adorable - and you look great -so photogenic, especially love the Axis Mundi Mousse!

loves - great photo - and I love the b/w yellow one the most. Killer shoes too.

john - great Kachinas - agree that silks on men are much more daring and stylish too!

Tango - this is a true red grail If you need to find it a new home - give me a holler! I would wear it a LOT! Dancing with it is the best way to wear it.

Scarfie - I can now officially be a sister to you - FdI in purple is perfect for welcoming spring!

Thank you everybody for the compliments on Hola Flamenca and De Passage a Tokyo - two scarves that have been a pleasure to wear this week.

The conversation about Monty Python continues to crack me up, but I'm surprised no one has mentioned Fawlty Towers yet. We are sick, sick puppies, all of us. Slumber party at LadyB's house? I'm there.

Euridice - Heartfelt congratulations on the blue electrique Double Sens! It is so beautiful and vibrant - just like you! Especially when paired with your red Pegase. That's some story about your Cezanne. I'm glad you kept it and showed it off this week. It's one that is so rarely seen, it's a treat.

Lanit - Two red Pegases for the price of one! I'm glad you hung onto this one. And wow, the blue hem on Feux du Ciel just raises that gorgeous scarf to a whole other level. You should wear it more often.

Hannah Sophia - Great to see you again. Lovely new red shells scarf - congrats!

Pomba - Yay! You did it! Trésors Retrouvés in red is a winner on you, love love that white hem. And it's Annie Faivre, so be sure and wear it again next week for Annie Faivre week, okay?

Loves, Sushi Queen and Pussywillow - About Printemps-Ete 69 - so funny, because I recognize that picture is the one from my own collection I submitted to HSCI. I'm glad all that is going to good use :D. Loves, the black/yellow look is so becoming to you, and I too adore your fun tights.

LadyBaga - I'm so glad you're feeling better. I love how the colors complement each other in your two scarf look - they go incredibly well together, but I concur that the weather isn't working in our favor when it comes to wearing miles of silk. (Sigh).

Scarf Addict - Against all this red, that purple really vibrates! Congrats on your new cashmere sweater; VnSoie, Ladybaga, and I could only dream of having temperatures cool enough to warrant cashmere in late March.

Sparkles - You could be standing in the dark and that Axis Mundi mousse would still shine. Nice bracelet stack too.

Michel - the browns and taupes in your scarves compliment each other so beautifully. Terrific choices.

Rose - Two classic red winners.

VnSoie - You know how much I love Ex Libris en Kimonos, and that color will suit you beautifully.

John in DFW - I got a kick over your discussion of Texas "Alpha-husbands." Very astute observation. No matter, they suit you beautifully. Keep 'em comin'.

The Theme List is ready!

Thank you to all the contributors who sent me suggestions - there was enough material to fill an entire year, which I hope no one minds. However, if demand is there, we can reassess in six months time and see how things are going.

When arranging the weeks, I tried to take into account special days, for instance, acknowledging Queen Elisabeth's Diamond Jubilee, or pink scarves in honor of Breast Cancer Month. I also tried to space out similar themes a month apart (travel, colors, designers), so no one thinks to themselves, "Hey, didn't we just do that?"

Since most of us live in the Northern Hemisphere, I put the perennial favorites - India, Asia, music - in wintertime when the most number of people can take advantage of it (Sorry, Aussies!)

I am going to put the link to the theme list in my signature so it will remain easy to find for you all.

Thank you for letting me be the organizer this go round. I had fun putting it together, as you can tell.
