First, a BIG H THANKS to TangoTosca for organizing my scarf life for the next year!! TT, if you're not too busy, I've got some other things that need organizing!!!
Second, I have combed thru the scarf drawers, and even the Shrine, and there is not a red scarf to be found! Shocking! I must remedy this pronto! In the meantime, from the archives, here's Bal de Bulles. It's about as close as I can get, for now.....
No snarky comments on how the new enlarged photo format shows the fabric detail on my cheap t-shirt in an unintended way. You are supposed to be looking at the gorgeous contrasting hem, not at anything else, ahem! (If I'm lucky, no one will know what I'm talking about)
wonderful combo ! thank you for keeping "my style" alive...![]()
Thank you Ladybaga, Lanit, Euridice, Tango, Textilegirl for the lovely comments on my FdI

Today still wearing purple but there is some red in it this timeL'Ivresse d'Infini with another contrast hem.
Tangotosca, thanks for the wonderful theme list!! And, I am just marvelling at your gorgeous new red scarf, it is amazing!! Thanks for sharing it on red week!! Will look forward to the profile.
Dang, I know! too busy and too spontaneous! Thanks so much for your lovely comments!!
And yes, I did get the Zaba, it's a weird colorway (although I like it and it makes the design stand out), but hey! That was before I realized I could get in my car and drive to a nearby city to see the scarves in person!
WOWEE!!! LOVE that gorgeous mousseline from your archives! Ooh and there's that Farandole peeping out again, love it when that happens. But you do need to get a red scarf----STAT!
Thank you so much!! My jaw dropped at your L'Ivresse d'Infini!! Gorgey! Loving the purples on you.
Y'all, I beg your pardon for skipping a red day today, but I am wearing my La Femme! think of it as delayed heroine week!! Another of my own forgotten scarves, along with Cezanne.
I'm reading a book I got recently about Tibetan woman as told through a memoir by a Chinese American woman, called Sky Train. Very interesting!
Hi, everyone. I know I haven't been in this thread much, and I miss so many amazing people with their beautiful scarves. Just want to share this exceptional piece from Hermes. It is "Brides de Gala" cashmere and silk shawl with metal sequins, Japanese glass beads and silver and gold embroidery. It took 480 hours to create this one.
More detail pictures of the shawl on my Facebook.
Wearing it with Magic Kelly scarf as a dress with an H belt.
Oh, Sparklelisab, you are beautiful, and baby Chevre is too sweet! Are these bottle babies orphans? I used to help my uncle bottlefeed lambs once in a while. I want to come play with your babies!
Ladybaga, you are ON! I'll make my son bring back the MP Flying Circus videos, and we can even watch the dead-parrot and Ministry of Silly Walks sketches, and discuss scarves such as Fleurs d'Ecosse, Bolduc, and other tartan-like patterns while singing "I'm a Lumberjack and I'm OK". Then we can have a Latin-conjugating lesson while pondering Litterature; discuss perceptions of imperial occupation ("What have the Romans Ever Done for Us?"), recite the Beatitudes, and wrap it up with a discussion of the disadvantages of sharing a birthdate with an important historical figure (Brian's mum: "He's NOT the messiah; he's really a very naughty boy"). Someone should break out Neige d'Antan or another Christmas scarf at some point. Ooh, we could have a Mystery-scarf party: how does my scarf connect to the movie we're watching? Goodness, I'm a geek. It's worse than previously thought.
Always look on the bright side of life.
Michel, I totally dig your neutral scarf-pairing! I want to try that for next week!
Pomba, I think you will love Les Cavaliers D'or on you too. I find it very easy to pair with just about any outfits. The jewlry theme is a big love for me!
Hannahsophia, The shells on the coral scarf is so lovely. It goes so well with the ivory sweater and your red hair!
Lanit, what a happy and colorful Feux du Ciel! Perfect to welcome the arrival of the Spring!
Hermesguy, Love the pairing of black/white strip shirt with the accent of red in your scarf! You mentioned you used to shop for scarves for youself and your wife too, how did you go about chosing the right scarf for her? Do you find them based on themes? colors?
Sparklelisab, Thank you for your sweet words! Horsey scarves are really cool, especially when gems are also on them! I love love your Mousseline (Axis Mundi), it is one of those perfect spring/summer accesory that can go with you everywhere! Of course maybe not when you need to cuddle with you cute baby Chevre in case if Chevre wants to chew for affection (like my kitten does)!
Scarf Addict, the contrasting trim on your scarves are TDF! I only have one Hermes scarf with contrasting trim and can't wait to get more!
Euridice, The orange beauty is so powerful and fun looking against the vivid green! You are my kind of scarf girl (loving bright color)! You look great in the lighter shades of yellow La Femme too! Thank you so much for your kind words about my red silk. I adore the red color!
TangoTosca, Very sexy in that red hot silk belt... La Danse however transforms you into an elegant art gallary attendee......FUN!
Ladybaga, Your sunny and beautiful smile speaks it all, the scarves bring out the inner glow in you!!!!
Loves, You are so chic! Love the the corners of your 70cm!
Textilegirl, Thank you for your kind words, all of you have made me feel welcomed. It is so fun to hang out with you all and your beautiful silk collection! Do show off your Cavaliers D'Or someday!~Do you have the black or navy version? Your Bal de Bulles is perfect and happy. Your top is really very respectable. I have a scarf modeling photo that reveals ...ummm..... misfitted bra..... and.....I am still..... debating......
Nefredity, You look like a royalty in the ssequins-decorated shawl. I have been curious about it since seeing it on Hermes web site and I am so happy to see it modeled on someone lovely like you!
Euridice - congrats on your DS and wonderful to be twins times two dear! So glad you love the BE - it is such a fabulous color and goes with everything! I tend to use the graphite side more for work, but even then then BE color is so great how it pops out in a fun way.
Ladybaga - a joy to see you well and with your two bright silks - what artistry!
sparkle - Chevre is adorable - and you look great -so photogenic, especially love the Axis Mundi Mousse!
loves - great photo - and I love the b/w yellow one the most. Killer shoes too.
john - great Kachinas - agree that silks on men are much more daring and stylish too!
Tango - this is a true red grail If you need to find it a new home - give me a holler! I would wear it a LOT! Dancing with it is the best way to wear it.
Scarfie - I can now officially be a sister to you - FdI in purple is perfect for welcoming spring!
Yesterday's red scarf is a new one for me. I don't have a Scarf Circus profile for it yet, but at the rate I'm going Red week will long be in the rear-view mirror by the time I get caught up, so I'm going to post it anyway.

hahahahahahahahahahhaha...honey, are you on a coffee binge? Everyone is invited to my house. I have room. We'll bottle feed baby goats, dance to the best 80s rock and roll, karioke to Adele, drink lemon drops, talk scarf and eat food cooked together. Can I add these joys VnSoie, because I am afraid I don't understand half of what you just geeked out! I'll give it my best shot though!! hahahaha
Hi Guys and Gals!
Sorry to hog all of the thread with my individual comments. I just love seeing the posts and get so excited for everybody. Before we leave Red Week, I have another to add....
Well, it is actually my blue and white Les Mustangs (70cm this season) but I want you all to take a look at the second picture of the sweet horse that I have named "Red." (Sorry, he is so blurry.)
Thanks for viewing.
